Great location, good breakfast, but hotel just ok
Booked it for convenience to explore Kaunas. The location is fantastic - one block from the City Hall Square (Rotuses Aikste). There are no people working there, you have to call to check in or pay through the link to check in, even though we prepaid for the room. Based on pictures, the room was supposed to be larger and on the upper floor, we paid extra for it, but got the basic room on the ground floor. After 40 min spent trying to check in while messaging with the hotel through the WhatsApp, we finally got room info and code to get in via WhatsApp again. No forewarning about this and not very efficient. The room was not decorated and dark, no artwork on the walls, just gray everywhere. The room was cold (15°). No water provided in the room (except paid one), and a mini fridge with a paid mini bar inside. One of the most uncomfortable and hard mattresses we ever slept on while travelling. We paid for breakfast, selection, quality of options and the variety were good. Some dilapidation (broken tile in the bathroom, pealing caulk), overall did not feel like a four star hotel, eapecially for twice as much as most other places in the area.

Decent hotel, could do with some refurbishment. Check in and room locking system are fully electronic, and our door broke the first day meaning we couldn't get back in. Staff were very helpful and sorted this out quickly.

didn’t get email or sms about the checkin code, a phone call just barely helped but the helper barely spoke any English. We only had a half roll of toilet paper so we requested cleaning service the first day so they would fix that, but when we came back the room was untouched, and we had to ration the TP and survived the stay with one square left on the roll.

Great value for money stay in Kaunas, the room was big and clean, while check in and check out was contact free. Breakfast was ok, nothing special and not much variety. Hotel location was great, walking distance to attractions and restaurants.

The hotel was amazing, great staff and facilities. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The hotel was also in a great location. I would stay here again. The breakfast was also very good with popular varieties.

AC did not work
We specifically booked this hotel because of the location and air conditioning in the rooms. However during our 2 night stay the AC was not functional. We asked for a fan - none were available. Our window barely opened and there was no air flow in the room. It was a miserable 2 nights.

super bad experience. for everything you should pay extra - parking extra, water in the room - extra, bath cream - extra. breakfast was very poor, the coffee didnt look like a coffee - smelling weird and was from uncleaned coffee machine. everyone in the breakfast area was confused seeing that. the stuff is super apathetic. Would never recommend.

This was a big dissapointment the hotel claims to be a 4 star but was really a two star at best. Our bedsheets weren't changed for three days during our 5 day stay. We had no clean towels for two days. The shower was a joke it had no pressure and would cut out for first three days so my gf couldn't shower. It also lost heating and changed temperature for three days was unacceptable considering it was minus numbers outside. The room it self was showing a lack of maintenance the door handle was broken and the bathroom Tao produced bad smells when used and the bath didn't work despite me asking to to get it fixed it never was. Not worth the money in the slightest I have stayed all over the world in 4 stars this is a poor hotel really. Would not recommend at all.

Dirty bathroom but close to town hall
Hotel itself is near the town hall and old town kaunas. 45minutes by bus from kaunas airport to the city center and you pay 1 euro or 12 euro taxi and 30mins ride. The hotel location is superb, breakfast is ok, assortment of cheese, cold cuts, fruits, cereals, cakes and each person get 1 hot breakfast, tea and regular coffee and juices are included and if you.want capucino or latte thats extra. The hotel doesn't have elevator and they gave me room 303 which is in the 3rd floor. Then shower is clogged and nkt draining properly! I called the reception and told them about it and i waited 15minutes for the solution and they told me there is no room avail so they will fix it the next day but i told them i need to take a shower and the shower is not draining and flooded and i told them that i will call hotel.com and then after 15 minutes they called mw back saying there is a splution and they will transfer me to another room, well it's not clogged but the toilet is dirty so it looks like they just changed the sheets and did not clean the bathroom, no shampoo or anything and only 1 big towel and small towel so i have to ask thwm for extra big towel. They transfered me to 3rd floor in the other side of the building.The shower is not good sprinkling everywhere! Also problem at night. On our first day i dont hear anything but on our 2nd and 3rd night i cant sleep because its too noisy and i can hear all the people talking from outside even until 3am!. I am not happy with my stay.

We arrived at our hotel to be told that they had over booked and that they had arranged that we stay at another hotel. They organised a taxi to bring us to our hotel. I have to say the hotel we stayed in was very nice and the staff were excellent. I was disappointing that we were not told of the mix up in advance by Expedia.

Great location, good sized room
The clerk at the desk didn't even pretend to look to see if my room was ready because I arrived at 2 PM (before official check-in time). But it wasn't a problem to leave my bag and then just explore the area. And the location was superb, located right in Old Town and an easy walk to Kaunas Castle. The room was a good size with a small sitting area. Quiet at night. Didn't seem to be a lift, so I was glad I had packed light as my room was on the third floor. A bit off-putting that they charged for in-room tea.

Stayed here on my own before getting an early morning coach to Kaliningrad. Place was clean and well-maintained. Quite well located and there was minimal noise at night. Would stay again.

Wish I could have stayed there
When I arrived at the hotel to check in, the attendant told me that this hotel cancelled my reservation due to an issue with the room and moved me to another hotel about 4 kilometres away, outside the old city. While the Hotel claims to have contacted Expedia to notify them of the situation, neither the hotel, nor Expedia, nor hotels.com notified me personally of the change by phone text or email. I called hotels.com and they offered me a credit due to the inconvenience that was caused. I have no experience of the hotel other than the lobby which looks very nice and the central location in the old city which would have been very convenient for my stay.

The hotel is fine and it is the only hotel I was in Lithuania but I have to mention a few things. Shower in our room was really weak, no pressure at all and water was changing cold and hot. There was just one electrical heating in our room (it was enough but still), TV was not working (who cares but still) and when we asked for one more duvet the hotel staff said she'll bring it to us but she never did. But I can't just complain. Just expected a little bit more for the price.

Enivironmnet of Hotel is quite silence and has very good possibility to check churches, museums around main square of Old Town in Kaunas. 2 km far away there is Acropolis Mall. The main river is very close to the hotel so there is beautiful place foir business or/and for family.

Might not be "AA-4 star", but very good value
Overnight to visit family/- friends living locally. The room was advertised with a bath but believe bathroom has been recently modernized with only shower facilities (but it is nice to have a heated towel rail and heated flooring (just remember to turn it on ;-))

No heating in the room
The delux room was big, but there were unpainted areas on the walls. The electric heater was disconnected and the room was cold - I did not realize what was wrong and we went to bed. The next day we were out most of the day but when we returned I started to search for the heating problem and found out that the electric heating panel had fallen off the wall and the hotel han not cared to fix it. I complained to the front desk but he only found a plastic strip and helped me hang it on two screws on the wall. We got heating but it was ridiculous that I had to do it myself.

Best staff, central location, close to the river.
With a central location and close to the river it is a small but nice hotel, with a very attentive, intelligent, qualified and friendly staff. From reception to breakfast all were very nice and qualified people.
