"We were appauled at the condition of this hotel. Upon arriving at first look it appears to be your average hotel. After checking into our room and looking around we were completely grossed out. The room was grimey, any hanging curtain from the windows to the shower curtain were full of rips & holes and some were barely hanging on. The floors were so nasty that your socks &/or feet turned black after walking on them just a little bit. There was no phone in the room. We supposedly rented a room with a " kitchenette" however there was only a fridge & a hotplate... THAT WAS IT 😱. Most definately the smell of mold in the entire hotel if you can smell it over the OVERWHELMING POT SMELL as there were multiple drug deals going on in the parking lot. 😱 There was even a motorcycle parked out front to a guy who jumped the fence from behind after dumpster diving and took off 😱 The cover to the AC unit in the living room fell completely off in the middle of the night and the one in the bedroom sounded as if it were a jet airplane taking off and landing all night 😱. Definately WILL NOT BE BOOKING A STAY HERE EVER AGAIN 😱😱😱😱"

"Stayed at Wyndham Garden Katy and had a disappointing experience. I booked through Hotels.com which stated free parking, but at checkout they charged $60 for parking without any prior notice or consent. They also refused to provide an itemized invoice and asked me to contact the third party instead. Breakfast was particularly disappointing. Although it was advertised as available until 9:30 AM, it felt more like a first-come, first-served setup. Food items were stocked in very limited quantities, and if you arrived closer to 9:00 AM, most items were already gone. Even basic things like plates and utensils were sometimes unavailable, making it difficult to have a proper meal. Housekeeping was also not done at all during my 6-day stay, despite being told it would be provided every 3 days. Overall, lack of transparency and poor service. Would not stay here again."

"The sofa bed was dirty and you could feel the spring pressing your back. Though the breakfast was till 09:30am, from 08:45 itself the breakfast’s were not refilled. Short staffed. "

"The hotel is probably about 6 feet from a major interstate, I-10 so good luck getting a halfway decent nights sleep. Although not necessarily the hotel owner/staff’s fault the hotel might be perfect for an hourly rental, if you read between the lines. During my stay there were numerous guests fighting most of the night and either one or multiple car alarms that went off at least a dozen times. The inconsiderate owner(s) of the vehicle(s) let it cycle through for 20+ minutes each time, obviously ignoring their responsibility to address the alarm. The staff should be more attentive to the excessive noise all hours of the night and remove unruly pests, I meant guests. As far as an 8/10 rating, this is absolutely fake, it’s more like a 3/10. "
