Beautifully landscaped yard with outdoor eating area and bbq. The house was stocked with everything you might need. We could use their double car garage. We had a very enjoyable stay!"

"The property is beautifully situated, comfortable and has everything one needs for a stay. The owners live on site and are very attentive and kind but not intrusive. It was well placed for exploring the Arenal area but be aware that the road from Nuevo Arenal is extremely pot holded and the 8 km takes 35 minutes to drive."

"The grounds and wrap around deck were wonderful. We spent most of the time on the deck. Steve was most helpful with his suggestions and knowledge of the area. The carved wood in the house was exceptional. The nights were a bit warm for us and the hill to get to the property was doable but difficult with a car. Location was great and all the restaurants were fabulous."

"Carol and Jim are very caring hosts. Carol cooked fantastic, authentic Costa Rican breakfasts. Jim had coffee ready to go every morning. Carol was able to get us a discounted price at The Springs thermal pools, which we would recommend. They provide light housekeeping daily and are always available for questions and advice about the local area. We found the kitchen well equipped. While we were not able to river fish on their property, she was able to arrange for our group of four to try tilapia...

"It was a very nice property, old fashioned charm with modern updates: lots of electrical outlets, the best makeup mirror ever. Nice TV and WiFi. The host was very welcoming. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. The house is as pictured, it was clean and easy to check in. Beautiful views and not far from a few yummy restaurants! It’s a bit of a drive to La Fortuna but we did 2 activities (night walk and zipping) at CRParadisio which is close to the house. I would recommend this property!"

"Great location for touring the lake and waterfalls. House very spacious with views of the lake from every room. Slightly bizarre with one red floor tile throughout and all kitchen and bathroom units matching. Kitchen sink in each bedroom. Showers good but no hot water in basins. Light switch yards from the bed in my room. Property manager outstanding; came over very late to deal with water problems. Very good value. The big draw back is that the house is part of a working farm. Chickens and bull...
