"I loved staying in the quiet, spacious, clean rooms overlooking the courtyard. The hotel staff were exceptional--helpful in every way. And I thought the decor was beautiful. The food in the hotel restaurant was delicious--and the views from the rooftop were outstanding. I will return the next time I am in Kathmandu."

"Upon entering the room we were impressed by the blue led lighting strips. It gave us the sense that we were going into a room of the future. However, they have enough other lights that we were able to read without any effort. (I don't really like hotels that are mood-lit and never able to make bright enough to read anywhere). The bath tub was wonderful. It is so great to sit and soak after a great trek."

"This hotel is on a street with less hotels and shops than much of Thamel so it was overall a quieter site. The staff was very helpful in guiding us to locations and making phone calls for us on several occasions. If we get back to Kathmandu, we will stay here again."

"The hotel is centrally situated, allowing one to walk to many places of interest, shopping and restaurants. It is also a heritage hotel providing a nostalgic experience. Rooms and the hotel has been renovated nicely (I was there in 2016). Could improve in the breakfast served."

"We chose the penthouse, because I felt like a penthouse would be good. It wasn’t. We flew late at night from the US only to learn that the penthouse was on the 5th floor and they didn’t have an elevator. This made it impossible to stop by quickly at the hotel to get a hat or quickly change a shirt. We didn’t stay. We left the same night and went and stayed at their sister property with an elevator. From what I could see, the penthouse terrace was nice but I wasn’t about to do stairs the whole...
