"This is such a great place to go to unplug for a few days! There is WiFi, but it is not fast, which is exactly what we were looking for! We stayed three nights and did not leave the grounds. The restuarant is open for breafast, lunch, and supper, and there is a small fridge in each cabin. The staff is attentive, helpful, and friendly; we happened to be there during a winter storm, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone was safe and comfortable. The best part, though, was the beauty of the forest around us. There is nothing like a hike in the snowy woods! "

"Highly recommend—great old farmhouse! Clean, cozy, and comfortable. My dog loved the 10 acres! Saw deer & hawks. And it was right in town, close to everything including a couple of beautiful state parks. Exactly how it was described in the ad. Note: it’s not terribly modern and chichi but it’s a cool house with lots of nice touches! Hope to stay here again."

"The most adorable, cozy house! 3 college friends stayed for a weekend! The beds are so AMAZING we all want to order the mattress, sheets, pillows, etc. The house is in a great location and just minutes from the downtown area where there are cute shops and restaurants! If we ever come back to Dixon we will for sure stay again!!! "
