Tuk tuk and taxi drivers blocking the little footpath that is there, is not going to help them get customers. It just annoys people. The congestion pushes people out on to the road, which is just tok dangerous.

"Lovely people. Bed comfy, rooms spacious. Rooms smell mouldy due to air conditionier needing to be on the whole time. Close to everything but extremely steep hill to walk to get back. Would be good if there was a bus to the kata st, just because of the hill. The bus to the beach is great even though ..."

Kata was incredibly enjoyable. It’s a good location that is a blend of party and chill and close enough that it was quite cheap to get to other places. It only cost us 400baht to get to Patong beach which is left central.
