"Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great choice at breakfast and food & drink available all day. Good variety of well cooked & presented food. Spacious rooms in the annexe and choice of outdoor or indoor seating at the main building. Good facilities in the room."

"The facilities of the hotel are excellent. The only shame is the woodland cabins appear to be removing the kids playground. The reception staff at check in weren't very helpful, we had a tiring train journey and just needed a run around for the boys but they suggested outside of the hotel, they didn't realise they had a playground. Outside of the hotel, little Switzerland is lovely in the woods but there needed better pedestrian access from the hotel. The pool indoors is great, we had kids so couldn't g outside, but meant the indoors was great for the kids. The robot was a bit of a shame, we wanted to use for ice cream but if the phone is on mute you won't know it's there and we ended up with it an hour late, melted and no refund. Restaurant in the hotel - all the food is lovely, very tasty and something for most people."

"Don't follow GPS!!! The road is closed in front of the hotel and you have to look at the map instead. We were very lost forever late at night. Having said that once we were there it was perfect. "
