Beautiful hot

Hotel with excellent location for a visit to Schloss Wilhelmhöhe. The room was quite dated, beds semi-comfortable, the mattress in the extra bed dipped in the middle. Food and service at lunch was ok, but didn’t impress. Having said all this, I should also add that breakfast was excellent and so was the outdoor pool area. We didn’t use the spa, but it looked beautiful. However, the spa staff provided great service to us at the outdoor pool as well.

A beautiful place in a great location to the water feature that goes off on Wednesday and Saturdays in the park right next door. Saturday nights buffet was very good also.

Fantastic location with a direct view of the Hercules statue on Wilhelmshöhe. Room was ok but unfortunately no AC was available which was a bit annoying during the heat wave in August 2026. Breakfast and pool were great. On the morning of departure no water was available from 10am to noon due to maintenance. But I guess that was just tough luck.

Small room with tiny bathroom, poor furniture and decoration. The room itself was above the service entrance, starting 6:30h loud noises from the staff moving the trash bins and other service carts. Not to mention the water noises from wherever in the hotel, showers, toilets…. Disgusting experience

It wasn't a walkable property, and the tram didn't run the days we were there. I would have liked to have done and seen more, but when one is of a certain older age, walking can be difficult.

We arrived before 10 but the staff told us the kitchen and room-service was closed, even though the website says it doesn’t close until 10. It was not possible to book almost anything at the spa since staff told us there was no availability, even though we barely saw any other guest in the spa area. The hotel is nice, but a bit overpriced.

Ruhige Lage mit schönem Ausblick über Kassel. Alles war sauber, das Personal freundlich und wir hatten zudem die Möglichkeit die Annehmlichkeiten wie Sportraum und Spa über das Checkout hinaus zu nutzen, da wir erst gegen 14 Uhr abgereist sind. Die Matratzen waren ok, die Bettdecken sehr wohlfühlend. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr vielfältig und sicher für jeden was dabei. Tee gab es überall im Hotel for free. Hier kommen wir aufjedenfall nochmal hin 🙂

Sehr schönes Hotel mit modernem Spa-Bereich. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Badeteich. Exquisites Restaurant, sehr gutes Frühstück und angenehmer Lobbybereich. Unser Zimmer hatte keine Klimaanlage, dafür aber eine kleine Dachterrasse.

Das Hotel hat einen Biergarten, in dem laute Musik abends bis 22:30 Uhr beziehungsweise 23:00 Uhr läuft, selbst in den Zimmern, die auf der anderen Seite liegen, ist der laute Bass zu hören. Das Hotel liegt wirklich schön direkt am Schloss, die Zimmer sind gut. Wir jedoch nicht Gruppen-Urlaub oder Party macht, für den ist das aus meiner Sicht nicht der richtige Platz. Beim Abendessen im Restaurant beim Frühstück gab es sehr lange Wartezeiten bei der Platzierung, auch das auschecken, hat sehr lange gedauert und war in der Rezeption etwas chaotisch.
