"The staff here are all very helpful, you can ask them any questions from food to tours to personal drivers pick up and drop offs. Check in wasn’t until 3pm but they were able to give me my room by 12pm noon. The manager George also very generous. After checking out, they gave me a small Gold membership which gives me complementary wine and huge discounts on future stays! I will definitely come back! It’s also in the heart of Plaka, everything walking distance from food to the Acropolis!"

"10/10!! We loved our stay at The Residence Aiolou. Staff was beyond courteous and helpful throughout our stay, from check-in to check out. They took our bags to our room, arranged the spa for us, took our bags down and called us a cab at check-out. Very professional, exceptional service from start to finish. The hotel is in a perfect area for walking around Athens with quick access to great restaurants, shops, the Acropolis, etc. Everything you could want for a short visit. The room was outstanding, above and beyond my expectation. We had 3 balconies, a giant tub (I'm over 6' so this was a real treat for me), very comfortable king bed, good wifi, everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Will definitely be back to this hotel next time we're in Athens."

"I loved that the hotel was in close proximity to many of the attractions, restaurants, and shops. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. I found this bed to be the most comfortable out of all my European stays. My only complaint is the staff didn’t explain how the key system worked. I had to figure it out by learning from other guests. But I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel."

"Amazing location and very clean hotel. Early check-in was available, which was incredibly helpful. The rooftop bar is lovely and fun, although it can get a little loud at times and you can hear the music from the room. The AC is powerful, and having water, coffee, and a fridge in the room was a great touch. Overall, a lovely and comfortable stay!"

"The rooftop pool and restaurant are a treat, though a bit busy. Great view of the Acropolis from there. Restaurant staff are helpful. Rooms are very nice. Medium length walk to historical sites though it is through some pretty run down neighbourhoods."

"Everything was super clean, I just wished the had a room available with 2 double beds, we ended up with 2 twin beds attached and they could not be separated because of the attached night tables . I didn't want to slewp next to my friend. In the restroom there wasn't any towel holders so we didn't have anywhere yo hang our wet towels. Those are the only two things they need to correct. The rooftop was nice but the food waa not. We ordered two burgers without the bun and we did want everything else. When we received the order they forgot the pickled cucumber, onions, tomatoes. The salad was so oily amd the food was too salty. We also ordered 2 white Sangrías amd the taste was horrible. It tasted like they added licorice. The view was pretty but I wouldn't buy food from there again. The breakfast was mediocre. The hotel is located in a very good spot, Near all shops and restaurants."
