"The room was a good size and bathroom well appointed although the soap dispenser in the shower had, apparently, come off the wall and stood on the tap controls. Likewise, the hair dryer handle was slightly broken and I didn’t feel safe to use. Otherwise, all was good but the location was not the best."

"What a lovely property and a lovely host! The property is tucked away just outside of Rochechouart, an old millhouse on a small stream. The property is as described with enough beds for a group of 9 people. The property has two living areas meaning there is enough space for everyone. Amenities wise the pool is excellent, heated enough to take away the chill, but still cool enough for those hot days. The table-tennis, boules and organ round out the non-electronic entertainment. The Plancha style BBQ is amazing, under cover right next to the stream with a large table. We ate evening meals there every night. Beds were comfy, kitchen's well equipped it was a great stay for our group and allowed everyone to chill out and relax!Claire is a great host. She lives on site, but other than saying hi and helping practice French language skills or attending to little needs here and there she doesn't encroach or interfere with your enjoyment. From the property it is a 5 min drive into the centre of Rochechouart where there are a couple of patisseries, a wonderful butcher and an Aldi and and an Intermarche. There is a trail up the hill from the property as well into town that you can walk in 10 mins.Would highly recommend!"

"Good location for Limoges centre. Car park is great though would have helped to know where the entrance was. Reception staff helpful and the restaurant food was good. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were surprised that hotel and restaurant staff do not wear a uniform or even badges so hard to identify who was staff. The waitress at breakfast seemed preoccupied and irritated by our presence. We attended at 8.40 and breakfast was served until 10am so we were not late."

"The hotel was clean, the staff was very helpful and the breakfast was lovely and cost was reasonable. Be aware that parking is tricky! There is a private parade near the hotel that is very “tight” and you will have to haul luggage up a set of stairs from there to access the hotel."

"Fantastic hotel in this small city. My partner and I stayed here for two nights as a small stopover on our journey around France. We specifically stayed here as we were visiting Oradour-sur-Glane. I was driving a hire car, but had forgot to book parking, but the staff were so accommodating and sorted me out a parking space. The room was clean and comfortable. We explored Limoges during the day, and the hotel was ideally located near the centre as well as close to bars and restaurants. The highlight was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff."
