"We had a very lovely welcome from Anna and she told us where to eat etc. Unfortunately, we couldn't stay to explore the area as we were en-route down to the South but the scenary and area looked fantastic as we drove through. The Hotel was lovely and clean and the staff very welcoming. The breakfast was good too.... basic but good."

"The hotel and the surrounding countryside is lovely. The room was very comfortable with great views. The hotel manager was extremely kind and very helpful. He helped me out of a self inflicted mishap."

"We tried to email and call the hotel about arrival time, but didn't get any reply or someone to pick up. Therefore upon arrival there was some confusion re the availability, but we ended up in a nice and spacious room. Breakfast has to be paid in cash, so we ended up eating somewhere else."

"Misleading advertisement and management didn’t respond when we complained. I booked a cabin via hotels.com at Finca el Mazo for my family including our two young children. It was advertised as being family friendly with lots of activities including swimming pool, football, games room and basketball. "Opposite, the Guggenheim, close to shops and restaurants, and with its own parking, this modern hotel was very convenient for an overnight stay. The staff were charming and very helpful, and the room was large and well-appointed.The ground-floor Brasserie served an excellent dinner."

"Got a room on 9th floor and it was modern, airy, spacious, quiet, and clean. Above average for what I paid. Comfortable bed. Nice having a little fridge in the room as well. Hotel location worked out perfectly for me. Close enough to walk to Guggenheim, museum, Old Town, but not so close to tourist sites that prices are high. Many cafes, grocery stores, and other useful services right in the neighbourhood. Not knowing Bilbao when I booked, this ended up being the perfect location for me to explore the town and avoid most of the tourist congestion. Would definitely choose to stay here again. Only caution is that it’s near the football stadium, so if there’s a match on it can get very busy (and noisy) in the area."
