It was a pleasure staying in this friendly hotel for a few days! A quick walk from the main railway station, and a convenient location for visiting the main sights of the city. There is a large grocery store also in the area. Perfect for my needs, I would definitely stay there again!

Very convenient hotel

Good hotel very close to railway station and convenient for everything. The rooms overlook the station but there is absolutely no noise from the railway. Excellent air conditioning which was very welcome in the heat

Right at the train station, but you cannot hear the trains at all, which was a pleasant surprise. Small rooms, but good for a quick overnight or two. Standard breakfast, but no complaints.

This is a very basic property with small rooms. However, that is all we needed for this part of our travels. It was clean, the staff were really good, and it was a great option for an economical stay when you're not spending a lot of time in the room. We really liked that it was a short walk to the train station.

The ibis at the Hauptbahnhof Karlsruhe was terrific in terms of location, value, staff, and comfort - except for one thing. Contrary to downstairs signage there was no air conditioning. This was hot October weather. Therefore very stuffy and hot and uncomfortable. The room is silent with windows closed; way too loud with windows open.

There was no air conditioning since start of stay (although paid for an airconditioned room).not informed until you tell them its not working in the room.requested fan but not available.didnt even offer any complimentary drinks/refreshments or even a free breakfast.we have to always ask for a glass of water.pillows was so soft and flattens quickly.could have done wih a coffee/tea facilities in the room.though reception was helpful.just lack communication towards paying guests.
