The hotel is a little difficult to access by car as its a one way street with no parking. you can park the hotel next door which has a parking lot for a reasonable charge but you have to arrange it at the neighboring hotel. breakfast was basic but good. Communicating in English was a challenge (you can get by much easier with russian, germany or czeck) with reception and at the restaurant but the staff are friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is old but our room was freshly painted and clean, bathroom in good condition with a nice tub. Our biggest complaint was the bed was made from two twins pushed together which created a 6-8" gap in the middle where the bed frames touched which did not make for comfortable seeping as a couple. other than that the room was comfortable, a little noisy in the morning but nothing too terrible.

Noise makes sleep impossible during KVIFF

We stayed at this hotel during the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Unfortunately and unknown to us, the rooms are on the side of the hotel facing the main square and every single night of the festival there was a DJ set that lasted until 3 am. The rooms on that side have no sound insulation so it was impossible to sleep in the bedroom until 3 am. Around 1 am on the first night my partner made a nest in the bathroom and slept there the next 5 nights. We ended up leaving two nights earlier than planned and mossing the last two days of the festival because sleep was impossible. The hotel did not offer any refund and we did not ask. KVIFF is only 10 days each summer and I'm sure it's less noisy the other 50 weeks a year. The central location and elevator (not always certain in Europe) were very convenient. No AC or fan so I suspect the rooms get VERY hot later in the summer but we got a break in the heat so were able to keep the windows closed until 3 am when the DJ sets ended.

We were supposed to stay in Sirius hotel for one night and three days later for two more. They contacted us to let us know that a pipe broke in our room and it would not be ready for us in time. Sirius hotel made arrangements with two different hotels for us. They tried to make it as easy for us as possible. I think it shows good customer service.

Günstiger Preis, schlechte Speisen und Führung

Empfangspersonal des Hotels spricht kein deutsch. Beim Frühstück gab es Brötchen und Beilagen vom Vortag. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gepflegt. Zimmerreinigung wurde vergessen. Abendessen nur eingeschränkt möglich. Wir würde dem Hotel nur 2 Sterne geben. Wir können das Hotel trotz des günstigen Preises und der großen sauberen Zimmer nicht weiter empfehlen.

Rigtig god oplevelse

Vi blev allerede ved ankomsten modtaget med stor hjælpsomhed. Receptionen hjalp os med mønter til P-plads og næste dag med at finde permanent parkering under vores ophold. Samme venlighed blandt personalet ved morgenbuffet og overalt på hotellet. Dette sted kan vi kun anbefale, og med lyst til at komme igen en anden gang!

Die Zimmer sind sauber. Das Frühstück ist eher auf den russichen Geschmack gerichtet. Die Rezeptionsdame sprach Tschechisch, Englisch und Russisch. Somit konnte ich mich mir ihr auf Englisch unterhalten, meine Begleitung zum Glück auf Russisch. Es gibt aber Angestellte die gut Deutsch sprechen, wer es denn braucht. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, direkt an der Tepla. Besonders schön ist der alte Aufzug im Treppenhaus. Wir hatten jeder jeweils eine Massage, Sauna sowie ein Moorbad dazu gebucht gehabt. Die Massage hätte etwas kräftiger sein können, richtig ausruhen kann man sich im Saunabereich nicht. Das Moorbad bestand aus 100ml Moorkonzentrat aufgelöst in einer für entsprechende Behandlungen vorgesehenen Wanne. Der Behandlungsbereich ist im Keller des Hotels und besteht aus einem recht kleinen Raum für die Sauna sowie den Räumen für entsprechnde Bäder und Elektrotherapie usw.. Insgesamt würde ich das Hotel eher in der 3 Sterne Kategorie sehen.

Von den Bildern her hatten wir uns wahnsinnig auf den Urlaub gefreut aber als wir dort ankamen gleichte nichts dem! Im ersten Moment dachten wir wir sind im falschen Hotel. Es entspricht gerade mal den Standards eines zwei Sterne Hotels aber mehr auf keinen Fall. Von SPA Atmosphäre keine Spur. Zuzätzlich dazu sehr schlechte Parkmöglichkeiten. Das Hotel bieten keinen Parkplatz an. Nichteinmal gegen Bezahlung. Es gibt ein einziges Parkhaus was wirklich wie ein Alptraum ist. Wir hatten wirklich Probleme Heil mit unserem Kombi rein und raus zu kommen. Viel zu eng!!! Zudem mussten wir vier Stunden warten bis ein Platz frei wurde.

Netter Service vor allem an der Rezeption. Auch ist das Hotel gut gelegen. Leider sicherlich kein 4-Sterne Hotel. Da gibt es wesentlich bessere in Karlsbad. Die Zimmer waren verstaubt, die Betten extrem weich. Das Frühstück war akzeptabel, aber weit von einem 4-Sterne Standard entfernt. Parkplätze gibt es nicht, d.h. man muss für € 10 im Hotel gegenüber parken.
