"The 2 houses are very beautiful, and the garden with lemon trees is also very charming. if you arrive at night - like us - it's a bit tricky ( or funny ! ) to find the houses, but if you read well the in informations it's OK. It's very typical, and all around the landscapes are very nice. Very good adresses around, like the bakery or the cafe down in the valley. The owner of the house are just perfect and very kind, very easy to communicate. So it was a pleasure! we will be happy to come back."

The property is situated in a peaceful, rural environment that is a short walk to the beach and still relatively close to neapolis, a bigger town. "To start with the (only a few) positives: - The property manager was forthcoming and friendly. - Location of the property is ok: Elafonisos is 10 minutes by car + 10 minutes by ferry away; Kastania cave, Petrified forest and Monemvasia are all 30-40 minutes away. The nearest town, Neapoli, is 5 mins away (all by car). However, the neighbourhood itself is less than scenic, a dirt coastal road leads you to the property. Nowhere to go on foot. "The Akrotiri Hotel was really good, so much so that we stayed longer than planned. The host Timus was very accommodating explaining that the breakfast was €7 extra per person despite the booking site stating that it was free but the receipt was ambiguous in that respect. The who are was very clean and tidy with fantastic beaches that we had largely to ourselves given it was still early in the season with clean public toilets at most beaches and towns. Regrettably a few inconsiderate camper vans wild camping despite the new law restricting them to only designated sites. "
