The pristine Lake Zell is a perfect spot to enjoy sailing and water sports. Sigmund Thun-Gorge, Kaprun High Mountain Reservoirs, Krimml Waterfalls (Europe’s highest waterfall) and the High Alpine Grossglockner Mountain Road are only a short journey from Apartment Zachary.
In the winter, Kaprun/Zell am See becomes a world-class ski resort catering to all abilities. For beginners, the Lechnerberg slope is only 350m from your front door. The local resorts of Kitzsteinhorn (100% snow guarantee Oct- early summer), Schmittenhöhe and Familienberg Maiskogel offer over 138km of perfectly groomed pistes. In addition, the Ski Circus at Saalbach/Hinterglemm and the Höchkonig Ski resort at Maria Alm can be reached within 30 minutes by car.
