Top Kansas Rocks Recreation Park Hotel Reviews
Azure Sky Motel
8/10 Good
"Room was clean, hot shower, and a large TV and refrigerator. It was very close to Fort Scott. We had pulled in with a boat and they made it work , but they do have a small parking lot. It was quiet and cost less!"
Hammond Hideaway, Lovely cabin 12 miles north of Fort Scott.
10/10 Excellent
"This spot was absolutely wonderful! The cabin was spotlessly clean, fresh, comfortable, and incredibly well cared for. From the moment we walked in, it felt welcoming and relaxing. The setting is beautiful—the view of the lake and surrounding countryside is gorgeous, peaceful, and exactly what we were hoping for after spending the day out exploring. The location was also perfect for our trip. We were close enough to Fort Scott to enjoy the historic sites and downtown, while also having easy access to Kansas Rocks Recreation Park for off-roading.The beds and furnishings were comfortable, the cabin had everything we needed, and it was obvious that a lot of thought and care goes into making guests feel at home. We especially appreciated being able to come back after a long day on the trails to somewhere so quiet, clean, and comfortable.Hammond Hideaway is a hidden gem in southeast Kansas. Whether you're coming for the history, off-roading, or just looking for a peaceful place to get away, this is an excellent choice. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!"

"The place was very comfortable and fit the bill perfectly for our group of 8. Thank you for a lovely stay. And thank you for crediting us 200! It eased the bill for everyone of us who came to help on the “mission trip”! Thank you for also being a blessing! May God richly bless you!"
Downtown 1BR Historic 1911 Sleeps 4

"The owners were wonderful - they even had farm fresh eggs waiting for us in the fridge all the extra linens were brand new - we had two teenage girls who loved the shampoo/conditioner in the room. The decor was nice I loved the green and whit trim. The bed is a memory foam and I thought it was comfortable. There are only a couple minor things- the air conditioner is a little loud and the living room was a bit cool however the kids just put on the fireplace heater my only sticking point was that the bedroom had no door so privacy was a challenge. I wish we had known that from the beginning it may be listed and I missed it. Oh and if you get a chance to go shopping in the clothing store downstairs do so there was a lot of cute stuff and you get a 10% discount. We would return. Oh and Fort Scott has a farmer market we got to visit and loved it."
Kansas Hunting Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful, comfortable house in the country but only 15 minutes from Fort Scott, a quaint little town with cobblestone streets and a handful of wonderful boutiques. Our son plays baseball there and this was a great place to stay. He came out and stayed with us to get away from the college for a few days. We cooked him some meals, played pool, watched movies. So relaxing. Beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms pristine. There’s even a heater in the master bath! The owner was very responsive and an absolute pleasure to work with. If you are looking for a little getaway, this is THE place to stay! "
