Last minute reservation via Expedia. Decent rate for a weekend. Only downside was that they were renovating and the main entrance was completely gated and blocked off. Staff was courteous and the room was great.

Property was under renovation so the entrance and lobby were all torn up. Property and room were clean and cleaning staff friendly. NOT happy that the check in staff told me breakfast was NOT included and continued to say no, until I showed them my confirmation that it WAS included. No cook for breakfast any of the days I was there so breakfast was VERY limited. Walls not very insulated as I could hear the people in the room next to me through out the night (music, laughing loud talking and yelling).

The property was being renovated and should not charge full price during this time. Painting outside could blow on cars so we parked far away! Parking lot blocked by trucks. So much inconvenience. Bathroom sink drain did not work and was not fixed during 2 night stay.

The staff was very welcoming, I didn't get the name of the man who checked us in, and wish I had because I would give him a great review through the hotel. He made several recommendations for restaurants nearby, and was generous about a late check out. We were there for business and only stayed one night. The location was great, anything and everything was 5 minutes or less from the hotel. The beds were comfortable, There was a fridge in the room. The property is under construction, the lobby area and our room were nice. I was disappointed the room had a tiny coffee maker with very generic coffee. They do serve Starbucks in the lobby bar/breakfast area at a charge. Breakfast and/or coffee are not included, with exception of small outdated and aged coffee maker in room. Purpose of trip was business, with an exam the morning after our stay, planned on studying that morning, and had to pack up quickly and leave due to construction noises which began around 8:45 to 9:00am. It was so loud we could not hear each other, and that isn't an exaggeration. It sounded like they had four drills going at once in our room, even though it was in a room close to us, not in our room. That level of noise, I'd think should start AFTER check out time. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again once remodeling is complete. If you plan on sleeping until 8:30 or relaxing in the morning, I recommend asking the for a room away from construction.

Mis Leading hotel
This hotel is not at all what it claims to be. There was no eatery/bar. It was closed the entire time we stayed there. There was no pool, it is cemented in. This was very disappointing to the kids. The hotel is under major construction, which there is no mention of in the website. The exterior of the hotel looks absolutely nothing like the pictures on the website.

Good but change room cleaning to service later.
The stay itself was excellent. The only negative is that I got a knock at the door at 7:30AM from room service to clean my room. Recommend a 8:30AM or 9AM start on knocking on doors and unless the front desk knows that someone has checked out sooner.

I appreciate receiving an email in advance regarding construction going on with potential noise being an issue. I can honestly say I did not hear anything. Staff was super nice at check-in. Room is a little dated but it was adequate.

This property is an old, tired location in a snoozy part of suburban Kansas City. The staff was basically dead and had no interest in doing anything to acknowledge guest or be friendly. The ONLY exception was the amazing lady at the bar with the cool glasses. She should be a district manager for a restaurant company if anyone is looking. A real gem of a person! The rooms at this hotel are TIRED and the lobby furniture is threadbare. Come in Marriott! Update your hotels and please hire better design teams. You are losing guests as other options become available.

Great hotel
Great stay. Hotel was maintained properly for as many people that were coming in and out of the hotel at the time (lots of teams). Updated hotel with very nice accommodations. Nice indoor pool. Nice area. Nice staff. I would definitely stay there again. Hotels.com offered a 2 person breakfast within the cost of our stay - the hotel honored it but was not happy about that add-on. Just FYI.

I thought the staff was great. Very friendly. The bistro is nice but too pricy for me. On the bright side, it did offer Starbucks coffee. The bed was disappointing because it sunk to the middle and I had to either sleep on my back or cuddle a pillow to be comfortable. The couch in the room was great for lounging. Over all this was a pleasing experience.

Property close to where I needed to travel. I used to stay only at Marriott for free breakfast and Concierge service when I was a Gold Card member. Now all perks are gone. Room was not cleaned and no fresh towels for each day. It might save water but loses customers.
