Our room was pretty clean but the common areas were pretty dirty and not well maintained. The elevator was also out of order.

I have stayed here a few times. This time was still a great stay, however, some issues. Paid the extra $$ for the jetted tub, but it didn't hold water, the plug seal was warped. Also when plugging in my phone, found a used dirty towel behind the sofa. In addition to that, I questioned how well the room had been cleaned, toilet paper holder had an empty roll on it with a larger roll just sitting on top of it. One of the lamps did not work either. It was a one night stay, or I would have requested a new room.

I had to carry a motorized wheel chair down 2 flights of stairs.. cuz the elevator quite working.. and parents let their children run rampant in the hall ways up until midnight..

The hotel was under renovation, however no where on their website or Expedia was that mentioned. Our stay was a Monday-Wednesday. There were holes in the ceiling with exposed wires hanging out of them. There were piles of drywall dust that were swept into corners, that were never cleaned up the entire stay. The carpets were dusty. They did most of their construction from 4pm-8pm while we were in our rooms. It was a very hard stay.

Door was locked upon arrival. No working elevator from what we were told had been traveling flying all day only needed a shower and sleep before driving 3 hours home. Hotel or motel was dirty , dresser in room was broken, white sheets where yellow.

The staff was not the very friendly. They refuse to let anyone check in early. The lobby was packed up until 3pm waiting for check-in. The halls were filled with people renovating. Three rooms were decent, but I will not stay here again.

We were surprised at how dirty and rundown this property was. We knew it wasn’t the Ritz, but we could not stay the night at this hotel. Starting at the elevator, the faux wood trim was damaged and the floor and walls were dirty. The hallway to the room had dirty carpet. Once in the room, there were cleanliness issues in the bathroom, the carpet in the room, etc. the mattress was very old, sallowed out, and stained. (Yes, I checked under the sheets for critters at this place!). We could not stay and turned the keys in to the desk. The staff was polite but all we got when we stated the reason we were leaving (politely) after 30 minutes of being there was, “okay, thank you”. No offer of refund or anything. Fortunately we found an excellent (very clean) hotel nearby.

On the second day of our stay, other guests were accidentally assigned and given access to our hotel room. This made for a very awkward interaction when these guests walked into my partner and I. My partner has seen things online about individuals gaining access to hotel rooms and then abducting those who are inside which led to a very uncomfortable rest of our stay.

For anyone heading to a Sporting KC match, this is a good choice for a hotel. We could see the stadium from our 3rd story room, and we were only a five-minute walk from the Legends shopping area. We did not need our car the whole weekend once we were parked at the hotel.

Nice upkeep of very clean hotel. Has many restaurants nearby, convenient location to shopping. Right by race track, so quiet & spacious, comparing to downtown area. Big casino near by, my son have fun killing few hours there.

We usually like Country Inns when traveling. This one definitely needs some work. Pool center is closed, carpet in room was dirty, no luggage rack. Certain areas of room could use a good cleaning. Breakfast bar looked great but food was cold to tepid. Thought ok - will take back to room and microwave it. Microwave and frig can not be plugged in at same time. Had to move microwave, unplug frig and plug in microwave. By then everything including coffee and toast were cold☹️. Do not recommend.

Pool was not available. Carpets need replaced, they have bleach stains and dirt stains. Breakfast staff was taking their plates of food back to staff area before guests were finished. I think breakfast on the weekends should extend to 10am for those who are there relaxing.

Great place to stay and close enough to the interstate so you’re not driving around a lot. Lots of shops and food near by. The building and grounds feel new and clean. I was pulling an RV and there was plenty of room to park in the back parking lot. I went out (pretty late) to grab something out of the back of my truck and security rolled through the parking lot which made me feel like my belongings were safe overnight. The ONLY downside was that they were repainting and the smell was really strong on the first floor. We were stay on the 3rd floor and once you exited the elevator, the strong paint smell disbursed. The room was roomy and nice. We would definitely stay here again when passing through.

The pool wasn't available. Fire alarm went off & had to stay in the car because it was so cold. They handled it very well. The lady taking care of the breakfast area did a great job! Friendly etc. People at front desk polite & helpful.
