"Das Haus an sich war ordentlich und schön eingerichtet. Es war alles sauber. Man sollte wissen dass das Haus direkt an einer stark befahrenden Straße liegt. Erholung im eigenen Garten ist hier Fehlanzeige. Drum herum wird auch gebaut. Das heißt man hat eigentlich permanent nur Lärm um sich herum. Gleich zu Beginn hat eine der Klimaanlagen Wasser verloren. Hilfe wäre erst am nächsten Tag gekommen. Kaltes Wasser im 1. Bad. Und das gerade als man duschen wollte. Alles in allem nicht zu empfehlen....

The hotel room that I stayed in was large room with a seating lounge that turned into a sofa bed if required. The bathroom room was large with a free standing bath, large vanity and walk in shower. My room was opposite the harbour and was lovely to look at the view in the morning and evening. The building has been beautifully renovated and the attention to detail to everythinug from bathrooms products to the food, wine and cigar collection is excellent. One of the most wonderful hotels I have ever stayed in and that's including The Park Hyatt with Opera House views in Sydney. The food in the restaurant was superb and the sommelier was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. At the moment because of building work on the way you cannot walk around the shore into the old town but the hotel is providing a free shuttle bus.
