"We recently (Feb, 2026) had an enjoyable trip to Murshidabad and a very pleasant couple of days’ stay at hotel Lake Palace. Operating just over a year, the hotel is in nice condition and good value for the price. "The rooms are spacious, washrooms nice. All amenities including refrigerator, tea kettle, smart TV etc. Pool was nice. Loation good, just overlooking the lake. Service was prompt, daily housekeeping done. All in all, we had a good 3 days stay. "

"If I could give this 0 stars I would. The room was dirty, the sheets and towels were dirty. The bathroom was dated and dirty. The fridge was rusty. The windows didn’t shut properly so the mosquitos got in and we were woken in the night by what sounded like someone retching outside. We stayed one night because we had to and left early the next morning."
