"This hotel is new (2017) and is currently in great condition. The room was spacious and beds very comfortable. The staff were awesome and went above and beyond to help with several non-standard requests. Only stayed one night and had to leave very early for the airport but they prepared a quite tasty breakfast box to go. The restaurant a couple of doors up has quite tasty food as well. All in all a wonderful place to stay, close to Shwedagon and Karaweik. "

"Its shiny brand new and really comfortable! A really nice hotel only its in a strange area, not really that close to anything much. If you are willing to walk in the heat there is a shopping mall and the lake about 25minutes away. Otherwise it's a good 20- 45 min taxi ride to border town (depending on traffic)! And a note to hotel staff- please provide at least 2 toilet rolls per room :)"

"Quality for value, the place is "get what you pay for." It's located in China town, which sounds great, except you will NOT sleep!! The hotel is situated above a street market that begins setting up (screaming vendors, metal tables and stands slamming!!!) at 5am. The market is open till nearly 1am.
