Kanab Paradise House with 2 King Beds Close to Hiking Trails

Imagine walking out the front door and seeing Utah's red-rock mountains staring back at you! You walk down the street and suddenly you are on a mountain trail that leads to dinosaur tracks. You return home from one of the many incredible sights around Kanab and relax in a hammock or gather around a firepit. Or maybe challenge someone to a game of foosball or cornhole or connect 4. At the end of the day, enjoy the night sky, see the stars and enjoy the quiet surroundings or maybe see a deer on the property. Welcome to the Kanab Paradise House!

The Kanab Paradise house is a 2700 square foot home that can host 12 people comfortably with 4 large bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 3 family gathering rooms located on a large lot on the edge of Kanab. You can walk to two awesome hiking trails from the house, or drive to three national parks (Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon) and numerous national monuments, state parks, slot canyons, The Wave, and more.

THE LAYOUT

-High speed free wifi internet connection throughout the house.
-Three-level house can accommodate two or more separate families.

UPSTAIRS
-Oversized master bedroom with attached bathroom on upper level of house with a desk, king bed and great views.
-Upstairs bedroom with queen bed and bunkbeds with a bathroom in the hall.

MAIN FLOOR
-Main level has a fully-stocked kitchen with 8-seat dining table, 3 bar stools, a family room, and a living room with a TV.
-Main level also has a half bathroom.

DOWNSTAIRS
-Downstairs bedroom with a king bed.
-Downstairs bedroom with a queen bed and bunkbeds.
-Downstairs family room has a foosball table, games, TV and full bathroom.
-Downstairs has a large capacity washer and dryer in the utility room.

LOCATION:

- On the edge of Kanab in the Kanab Ranchos area. Deer frequent through the property. Rural, yet within city limits.
-20 minutes from Best Friends Animal Society, sand caves, Belly of the Dragon, Peekaboo slot canyon, and Coral Pink Sand Dunes.
-40 minutes from Zion National Park
-60 minutes to Bryce National Park, Wire Pass/Buckskin Gulch, The Wave, Toadstools hike and more.
-Less than 2 hours from Grand Canyon National Park.
-There are numerous other hikes, slot canyons, and national monuments a short distance away.

THE RULES

-No smoking or pets on property, inside or outside. No candles or fireworks of any kind on property.

-Please remove outdoor shoes once inside the house, and use the sandstone drink coasters we have provided for beverages.

-Please do not leave flood lights on outside of the house on late at night. This disturbs the neighbors!

-We welcome guests of all ages, language, culture, heritage and lifestyle.

Great location

The house is well located for day trips to Zion, Page, and surrounding trails. The host was great to work with. The kids enjoyed the air hockey, foosball and game table. Beautiful mountain views from the front porch.

Lovely and spacious house in Kanab

Our group of 10 really enjoyed our stay! The house was spacious, clean and was in a very quiet street. It's a perfect "home base" if you're planning to check out Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. Definitely was one of our favorite rentals to stay in during our Utah trip.

Great Stay for a Family Retreat

Early-Mid May 2025My wife, myself, our adult kids, my brother, his wife, their adult kids, and one of their spouses (9 total) all stayed for 9 nights as a hub for our visit to some of Utah's National Parks. House was more than sufficient for all 9 of us, even for each family to really have their own space. Great yard with an even better view. Location is perfect for jumping into a handful of National and State Parks, as well as some local hiking trails, and dowtown Kanab. House was clean and as described in listing. We would stay again if ever back in Kanab.

Location and comfort

The house was roomy and comfortable and accommodated our group of 7 with space to spare. There was a great view of sunrise, and a hiking trail within walking distance, as well as drives of less than two hour to Bryce, Zion, Lake Powell, and the North Rim.

Great spot

Would definitely recommend. Great sleep - the beds were very comfortable and it was dark and quiet. The house was clean and cute. There were 7 of us adults staying here to bike in Zion and hike the Grand Canyon - this was a great location for both of these activities.

Beautiful Setting

The home is in a beautiful setting, surrounded by red rocks and trees. The owners were very responsive and concerned about our needs. The home was well stocked, clean and comfortable. My siblings and I had a wonderful time and memorable trip during our stay there. It's amazing how many things there are to do in the area.

Great location

Find this house for my wife and I to take a quick trip out to visit the Grand Canyon along with my mom and two of my sisters. Driving out to Kanab we went through Zion and then to the house. Beautiful home a bit off the main road through town made for quiet evenings. Great location in the middle of national parks for an easy day trip to any of them. Host was great though I did my research prior and didn't need an assistance while I was there.

Utah Zion

Everything is fine, has lots of essential items ( paper products and trash bags ). Pots and pans are worn. The kitchen island is too high for anyone to utilize. Second floor sink stopper heavy discoloration and several other items need repair throughout the house.

Wonderful Stay -Excellent location in Kanab!

This house is in a great location in Kanab. I went with some extended family (8 of us), he house was perfect. We enjoyed the pool table and air hockey and also the outdoor grill with fire pit. We were about 35 minutes to Zion National park and approx 1.5 hours to Bryce. We rode ATV's in Kanab located 9 minutes from this house. The owners were awesome! Sent me a message after to arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this house and will plan to stay again, if I visit this area.

Memorable graduation trip

Rental was in a perfect location for everything Southern Utah/Northern Arizona. Amenities (Fooseball table, pool table, air hockey table, grill, etc) we’re a hit. Plenty of towels and beds we’re comfortable. Only recommendation would be to have the dishwasher checked or maybe deep cleaned because we often had to run it through twice to get dishes clean. But overall, a memorable and perfect trip for our daughters graduation.

Comfort in Kanab

This was just the right place for our group, with four bedrooms and three and a half baths there was plenty of space for our group of eight. We found the place very clean and extremely well stocked (linens, towels, kitchen) with everything we needed. We loved that the place was in a very nice neighborhood just about 5-7 minutes from the heart of Kanab. Even though we spent most of our days out hiking around the area it was very nice to come home to the comfort of Micheal and Valeries place. Oh, let me also say that check-in and check-out was a breeze. I would defiantly stay here again. Thanks

Thanksgiving

The property was amazing. ...c!ean and well organized. The kitchen was large and well organkzed. There were three cooks among us and they enjoed the room and the organization It was cold and it snowed so we enjoyed just enjoyed being together..playing games and laughing a lot. Ate a lot of home cooked food. Great time and great house !!!!

Fantastic House for a great family vacation

The house was perfectly located - central to Zion, Bryce and the Grand Canyon, and we loved that there were so many vegetarian restaurant options in Kanab. The house was roomy and the beds were so comfortable. The kids loved the pool table/air hockey table and played on it constantly. I liked that it was close to the kitchen so we could keep an eye on things while preparing meals. The living room was great for all the kids watching TV when we wanted them to be quiet. The hammock on the front porch, with the great mountain view, was my favorite place. The kitchen was well stocked. The hosts were very helpful and informative. We played some of the board games in the house, but mostly it was a welcome refuge after a long day at a national park. Everyone loved it.

Best vacation home

This is by far one of the best vacation homes I’ve stayed in. Great place for families with a variety of ages. Wonderful amenities—so many game tables! Close to Bunting Trail with beautiful views of the bluff. Nice quiet neighborhood. Hosts were excellent.

Perfect place for multiple families with kids. Foosball, air hockey, and pool were a big hit. Plenty of space for everyone. Comfortable beds. Lots of cooking utensils and our host was responsive when we had a question.I look forward to our next visit to Kanab, if available we will stay here again!
