We absolutely loved our five-night stay at Canyons Lodge! The facility, location, town, atmosphere, and overall experience were outstanding. The staff was incredibly friendly, responsive, and helpful—every question was answered immediately, even simple text messages asking for restaurant recommendations. We enjoyed meeting other guests, relaxing by the fireplace, and using the pool. The breakfast was unique, healthy, and a wonderful start to each day. Proximity to a bunch of sights/parks/canyons was a plus. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we will gladly recommend Canyons Lodge to everyone we know.

As an auto traveller I appreciated that I could have my car near my room. Excellent restaurants in town including the one associated with the hotel which unfortunately was not open the night I was there, Sunday. Travis, one of the owners, is the nicest guy and very hospitable. I returned here for the second time largely because of the staff, the driving location and, the associated restaurant, which was amazing. Breakfast was perfect! The room this time was a little smaller but I was so tired I was fine with it.

This is the sister lodge of the boutique hotel across the street. This another well-maintained facility. I actually our room here better than in the boutique because the room’s layout was better. It was nicely decorated, cozy, quiet and there is no second floor, so you don’t have to carry your luggage up the stairs.

The continental breakfast was excellent, including an egg dish, fresh baked small muffin, yogurt with fruit and granola plus coffee and juice. The king bed was very comfortable, though we would have liked a couple of squishier pillows. The hotel was conveniently located but the road noise was slightly disturbing. The staff, Joseph, at the front desk was friendly, informed and all-around excellent.
