You'll find local eateries serving fresh seafood and traditional Malaysian dishes.

Couples looking for a peaceful escape will find this area ideal. The quiet environment, coupled with the natural beauty of the beach and the opportunity for leisurely strolls, makes it superb for a romantic getaway. Many guesthouses offer private balconies or terraces with sea views.

For families, staying near the main beach provides easy access to swimming and beach activities. The shallow, calm waters are suitable for children, and the relaxed pace of the village means there's less hustle and bustle.

The best time to go to Kampung Telaga Batu is during the dry season, which typically runs from December to February.

During these months, you'll experience consistently sunny days and lower humidity, making it ideal for enjoying the outdoors. The calmer seas are great for water activities like snorkelling, diving, and boat trips to nearby islands. This period is particularly good for families looking for a relaxing beach holiday, as the pleasant weather allows for uninterrupted enjoyment of the coastline and local attractions.

For couples seeking a romantic getaway, the shoulder months of March and November can also be excellent. While there might be a slight increase in rainfall compared to the peak dry season, you'll often find fewer crowds and potentially better value on accommodation.
