We were celebrating our 44th wedding anniversary. We wanted seclusion, quiet and peace in a clean, comfortable home. That is exactly what we got. The home is very new and private. It is reasonably handy to Kalispell, Whitefish, Flathead Lake and Glacier National Park. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful week together.
We stayed a week with family here for a music festival and to spend time in Glacier and surrounding area. Place is very nice and convenient to everything.
The property matched what was described in the listing. Very clean, spacious and well stocked. My bedroom had a desk and comfortable chair, which was great, as I unfortunately had to work 3 evenings.Overall, we (4 adults in our 50s) were very happy with the property. One guest raved in the guest book about the pizza at Moose's Saloon. We respectfully disagree. After waiting 65 minutes, it was easily the worst pizza I've ever eaten.
The pictures look so pretty in the listing that it almost looks too good to be true but it really is a lovely place to stay. PROS: -The beds are soft, comfortable, nice sheets and towels. -The kitchen has pretty much everything you could need (even a coffee grinder!). -The house was very clean and has the right balance between cozy and new. You can tell the owners really thought of many little details to make their guests feel comfortable. CONS: - There is no cell phone signal at the house but the satellite internet is very good. For me it was a little tricky to make some work calls but for others this might be a blessing! - The water pressure in the upstairs showers is a bit low. - The stairs are pretty steep to go upstairs but if you don't have mobility issues you should be fine. I would definitely stay here again :)
