"This hotel is amazing. I accidentally reserved the hotel for the wrong day, and the proprietor was so kind as not just squeeze us in on the right day during summer high season, but also upgraded us to two meticulously furnished Victorian apartments overseeing the sea from many windows and patios. The restaurant also served fabulous food, cocktails and lovely breakfasts. This is the kind of place that makes travel not just fun, but unexpectedly heart warming and welcoming."

"Super cute place once I found it. The tools are located above a tiny grocery store and I hadn’t realized that. Don’t let the store deter you from booking. I arrived around 8, it was closed. Parking lot of 4-6 spaces were empty. All good, very quiet and peaceful. Very nice area right by the water. The only reason I’m giving this a 4 out of 5 is that there was NO ONE else booked in the entire place and I did not have a room facing the water? Had I, I would have had a stunning view of the water and sunset probably. I had to go in the kitchen area to watch the sunset."

"Very friendly hotel. Lovely Scottish lady carried our bags upstairs and made us drinks with chocolates when we came in after dinner. Cosy room and best beds ever!!! Bathroom cold and a bit old fashioned looking. Needs renovating. We ate at Sauda in the town as the restaurant wasn’t open. It was very nice. Good breakfast. Lots of parking."
