Great for stopover in Kalbarri

Really enjoyed staying in a ground floor apartment facing the sea. All facilities for cooking own meals, but there are great pubs up the road for food and drink. The apartment has everything you need. Very comfortable. A must see is the pelican feeding across the road at the beach every day. A washing line outside front door proved very useful.

Lovely and clean, and central to everything. Walking distance to the grocery shop, and Murchison river. Sadly, other people staying in the complex were very noisy and disrespectful during our stay.

Lawrence who works at the poperty was there during our after-hours checking. He was most helpful and welcoming. He helped us get our luggage into our room with multiple trips to the car and back. His customer focus was excellent during our stay. Every business needs someone like Lawrence.

Staff were very friendly and excellent communicators. Unit was very clean and comfortable and mostly well appointed. Suggest providing a cutting board. WiFi was poor and restricted to 30 mins in our unit, so forget doing any work requiring cloud access.

Overall, we were very happy. Check in was good, staff (led by new handyman Lawrence of Zimbabwe) great, handy to local IGA (only big store in town, bakery was temporarily closed), love the whole area. Value for money Kalbarri, VG. Only real gripe? The parking for our upstairs apartment was too tight as Neighbour had a typical long 'grey nomads' setup, making maneuverability not the easiest. BBQ was good, but ground notices say 'BBQs'.
