The space
It consists of a bright double master bedroom looking out to the … and of a large open plan living room – dining room – kitchen. The living room, where you can relax on the six seater sofa opposite the fireplace and enjoy a movie, is discreetly screened off from the dining area, which extends to a fully-equipped kitchen with a four-chair kitchen table. There is a spacious bathroom with beautifully designed walls and a comfortable shower cabin, in which you can enjoy a hot bath, while the… rain falls down on you! On summer nights, make sure you switch the air conditioner on, while on wintery nights, the house is heated with natural gas, 24/7 natural. This apartment is ideal for families with children, couples, or groups of friends.
• Bedroom
The bedroom comes with a king-size bed and a spacious wardrobe. High quality linens are provided, while the luxurious mattress ensures a deep, relaxing sleep. The room is very bright, as it has a balcony overlooking the rocks of Meteora. High quality blinds and curtains make sure that you will have an undisturbed sleep, and soundproofing is excellent.
• Living Room
The open-space living room of the apartment comes with a comfortable corner six-seater sofa and a convenient living room table. Sit comfortably and enjoy a movie on the 50" smart TV and, on wintery nights, don’t miss the chance to enjoy a hot cup of tea by the fireplace.



• Bathroom
The bathroom comes with a spacious shower cabin, equipped with a large rain shower head hanging above - you can sing in the shower and in the rain at the same time! All towels, as well as bath foams and shampoos are provided.
• Kitchen
The kitchen is fully-stocked and well-equipped with all the necessary appliances and facilities. A refrigerator/freezer, a convenient oven with hot plates, silverware, dishware, cookware, basic cooking utensils, dish cleaning supplies, sandwich maker and French press are all provided.
• Laundry Room
There is also a special laundry room available in the property in case you want to wash, dry, or iron your clothes.
• Back Yard
This superior apartment benefits from a private back yard, where your children can play with utmost safety.

Guest access
If you visit our town with your own car, parking in the area is safe, free and easy. You can also reach the local bus station, as well as the train station, very easily – you need no more than 5 mins on foot. Access to Trikala and other major cities of the area is easy and there are regular bus and train routes connecting Kalampaka to Athens and Thessaloniki. There is a taxi stand nearby, too, so call a taxi and it will come to your door in no more than 2 mins.

Other things to note
The house is located in the centre of the town, yet the neighborhood is very peaceful and safe. You can find all the amenities within walking distance and its strategic position allows you to reach easily and quickly the most attractive places of the city – you can catch the bus to Meteora and the monasteries from the nearby bus station which lies just 300 m. from the property. Grab the chance to explore the most popular attractions of the town – The Hellenic Culture Museum, The Natural History Museumof Meteora & Mushroom Museum and The Digital Projection Centre of Meteora’s History and Culture, all of which are located no more than 3 mins from the house. You can also visit the Byzantine Church of Virgin Mary - a must-see landmark on account of its old age and precious 11th century Byzantine frescoes - situated right under the breathtaking Meteora rocks. This is definitely one of the most precious early Christian basilicas around Greece and, even nowadays, serves as an active church for the locals. Try visiting the church on foot, since you will have the opportunity to stroll around the old city paved streets.

Good for a single night

The communication was efficient, and the location you couldn't beat thanks to its fifteen-minute walk from the Meteora hiking trail. My only complaints were that the apartment smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, the trash hadn't been changed, and the shower was a bit odd (only partially covered, meaning water could easily splash outside of it). The windows/glass slider door was blocked off as well, so we didn't get the view that was advertised. Apart from that, the home featured all the necessary accommodations for a one-night stay and suited us well after a long beautiful hike. Overall a good place to stay if you're on a budget.
