Friendly and welcoming host. Very accommodating and good at providing interesting things to see and do in the area. Lovely, peaceful garden perfect for relaxing after a full day exploring Christchurch. All in all, a great place to stay while visiting Christchurch.

Nice tidy property central to a lot of shops etc

I liked the big windows and facing north. The room was very clean and the hotel too. The room size was good, bed very comfortable and bathroom well appointed. I thought the dining room / restaurant was very dark painted black and I didn't like that. I didn't eat on site. I booked on site parking which was occupied by another car when I arrived back late one evening. I was tired and needed to go out early next morning. So I was not happy about this. The Hotel should have systems in place to prevent this happening. I got a 2 day refund for my parking. Staff were generally very helpful. In hindsight I would have preferred a hotel closer to the CBD.

Only stayed one night but we were very happy with our stay. Room was small but very good value for the price. Friendly staff. Would stay again

Loved the fact there was lots of space and we had our own bedroom.
