"The lobby was packed with people trying check. There was no one to tell me what line was what I spent 30 in the wrong line. After checking in I was told the elevator was broken. I was given confusing direction on the location of my room. I went back 2 Times trying to get help. The staff responded with figure it out your self attitude. After almost 30 min we found the room. We occasionally bumped with other people with the same problem."

"We had a wonderful stay at this house. The house was very nicely furnished and stocked with tons of pillows and blankets. Furniture and decorations were neat to look at and seem to fit the house well. The kitchen had all the things we needed for a weekend adventure minus meeting to buy some Pam since we forgot it (though I'm pretty sure we were told that things like that were not there). The view from the porch was amazing. The mountain was out and glorious the whole weekend. It was fun for our 11-year-old to play on the beach in front of the house. It was relaxing for myself and my husband to sit on the porch in rocking chairs and read all day. We saw tons of wildlife with the seals, birds and and otter. A deer even walked down the beach one evening. Loved it and plan on going back next year."

"Our stay was amazing! We had perfect weather! Beach access is so easy, we spent all our time out side in the yard or on the beach! The beach!! The rocks are out of this world amazing! So colorful!! If you aren’t familiar with Washington beaches, bring beach shoes! They are very rocky!! Lots of wildlife, two fire pits, a hammock and so many sitting areas! The only warnings I would give (and to be fair the owner does give them) is the many different levels in the house and outside. It is just a stair or two up or down but constant. If you have problems with stairs be prepared. Even though we all knew about the step down out of the kitchen for some reason that one just threw us off! Four of us stumbled down that stair, I did twice! Not sure why, it was crazy!! The only other thing is that some curtains on the bedroom would be nice for people that want to sleep in, and the frog room really has no privacy without curtains or a door on the closet area. Instructions on how to use the tv and fire pit would’ve been good, but we figured it out! Those aren’t complaints just little things. Everything else about this home was great! The grandkids loved going in the lighthouse, with an adult! And running around the yard and the beach! I can’t say enough about the wonderful time we had here! "

"Relaxing place to stay but the 10 pm curfew needs to be upheld in someway. We’ve stayed here a few times and unfortunately it gets noisy in the evenings. Other than that…great place to stay "

"We enjoyed our stay very much. Very good communication with the host. The cottage is charming and very clean, with water views from every angle. Lovely and peaceful. The kitchen was stocked with delicious breakfast items. There was a suggested breakfast menu and ingredients for us to make that happen. Great idea. If you are a coffee lover, this is your place. Fresh beans from Storyville Roasters and every possible way to brew. We didn't try the hot tub. It was a chilly week, so we weren't outside much, but we hope to return for another stay in warmer weather. Great location. We love Burien. Thanks for making us feel at home Penny!"

"Stunning fairyland straight out of a novel. Birds and blossoms at every turn. Lush grass fields and delightful little streams winding down to a quiet beach. The coach house is bright and airy with high ceilings and all the quilts and pillows this group of girls could ever want. Lisa was very sweet and even introduced us to our neighbors, an elegant horse and a sassy scrubby pony. Highly recommend this cottage for a Little Women style family trip. "

"We absolutely loved this house! The views are amazing! Beds are super comfy! We really had a good chance to relax and be together as a family during spring break. It was fun to see the difference between low and high tide. Tons of shells to investigate. We would have stayed longer if we could have. My 7 year old was crying as we left on the ferry and is already planning our return trip. ;) The listing is described very accurately. It is an older home but is updated throughout. Kitchen is very modern with everything we needed to prepare meals. Drawers and cupboards were even labeled so you could find things easily. Communication with the host was excellent! Don't hesitate to stay here!"
