He built his home and shop here with pride, branding it with custom rock and other 3-dimensional art pieces throughout. Your private studio apartment is no exception and host Johney will help you have a local Alaska experience! If you like the outdoors, you'll love the trails and fishing spots within walking distance. There are many fun, excursions a mile away at Statter Harbor in Auke Bay, including kayaking, paddle boarding, and whale watching. Johney is there to point you in the right direction for the experiences you're looking for. You'll have full use of your own private studio apartment with twin bed and private exterior entrance. Your private space has a 3/4 bathroom with a luxury shower, The space has a kitchenette with a toaster oven, toaster, microwave, and coffee pot. There is plenty of off-street parking. This apartment is on the ground floor. The shop is situated directly adjacent to Biker's Bungalow with operations from 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. Shop noise can be heard from your unit.
Biker's Bungalow is a private apartment with its exterior access, bordering the Tongass National Forest and near Auke Lake, Auke Bay, and the famous Mendenhall Glacier. It's the perfect base for an adventurous Juneau visit with lots of local flare. You can rent fishing poles and bicycles on-site for use within proximity. A luxury shower is a comfort highlight of this unit! This unit features a Twin bed, Kitchenette with a toaster oven, microwave, and coffee pot, TV with cable, internet, and a luxury bathroom.
An artist had a dream and he's inviting you to enjoy it. This is an experience, not just a place to stay. You'll be thrilled and inspired. Biker's Bungalow stories will be told as you recant your Alaska vacation memories into the future. Johney is passionate and fun. His work is unique. It's edgy, and it's hard-core. Much of his art is three-dimensional, assemblage style. Johney figured out that he could make kitchens into art, so he studied rock shops around the country, created his tools, and opened his stone fabrication shop in the garage of his home in 1999. Johney's eye for the perfect rock and design to match his customer's personality landed him on the cover of Southeast Living Magazine. He's a classic entrepreneur, turning one sale into another tool, and eventually, he built his shop in the back and expanded the home around it until a masterpiece was created, and ready to share with you. Self-portraiture by the late Skylar Engle is displayed throughout the property. These two Engle's have produced brilliant art, with outstandingly contrasting styles to interest you.

Sweet!
Sweet little cubby tucked away in an upscale biker's abode in the rainforest. Clean, cozy, convenient, quiet and peaceful vibe. Location is important. This is a safe neighborhood; not like higher priced hotels I stayed at this trip! (Be careful out there - this isn't the old "safe and serene" Juneau any more.)
This little accommodation is perfect for 1 or 2 people. Very cool techno fashion bathroom with marvelous shower that offers options😉. Comfy bed 5⭐ - just right for snuggling up to watch a good movie on a wet day after whale watching or other fun activities Kelli can help you book!

Sweet little hideaway!
My two Rat Terriers and I stayed in the Bungalow while waiting for our house to be ready. The Bungalow is perfect for one person or a cozy couple. It's compact, has everything needed for a comfortable and convenient stay, and is well located. There are a couple of steps up to the elevated and super comfy bed, so this is something to keep in mind if you have mobility issues.
The kitchenette is well-equipped with a toaster oven, microwave, and coffee pot, making it easy to prepare simple meals. The bathroom is modern and clean, with a luxurious shower. The Bungalow is also pet-friendly, which was a huge plus for us. We met the host, Johnnie, while strolling around the clean, safe grounds.
The location is fantastic, with beautiful trails and fishing spots within walking distance. It's also close to Auke Lake, Auke Bay, and the famous Mendenhall Glacier, making it a perfect base for exploring Juneau. The host, Johney, is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area, providing great recommendations for local activities.
Overall, Biker's Bungalow is a charming and unique place to stay, with thoughtful touches and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

The coolest spot with the most humble and rad human
As the title says, The Bikers Bungalow was awesome. Comfortable and perfect for a solo traveler like myself with room to spare for a partner! Private and equipped with everything you need.
The bathroom and walk in shower have incredible stone and glass work.
Quiet stay in a great neighborhood, short stroll to the beautiful Auke Lake.
Kelli and Johnney are the best. 10/10 will stay again!
Check out a Jetski tour with Dangerous Water Adventures if you're in town for the summer!

Perfect for me.
I hade two nights in Juneau and was mostly out and about. The location is great and all was neat and tidy. It's a bit small but because I was mostly out that didn't matter too much. Thanks!
I really enjoyed most of my stay here. There were occasions when someone was walking loudly upstairs but it wasn't something that was upsetting. The one person I encountered during my stay was very friendly to me.
