"The property has been renovated and the rooms are modern with wood accents and back lighting. The shower felt so good, especially after a full travel day. Absolutely loved the room. Very clean. The staff and manager were great. We had a sea view and enjoyed stepping out onto the balcony for the amazing view. Highly recommend. "

"Nice place to stay in Juneau. Room was clean & comfy, the staff was helpful and delightful. Recommend Alaskan Hotel. Just note there is no elevator. I knew that ahead of time, so it wasn't a surprise. The young men carried my luggage up and brought it back down. "

"The Baranof is a beautiful old hotel at a nice location in the middle of Old Town Juneau. Given that it is a historic place, it feels a bit worn and could use a little freshening up. The service was friendly and helpful. Dining was only in the bar, but the food was good. We had a nice view from our window. The only slight problem was some very loud music from the open-air pub next door on Friday night, but they didn't go on too long. "

"I can’t say enough good things about this property and our experience. To start, the location on Douglas Island is beautiful with gorgeous views from the cozy balcony and the bedroom window. It was a short 5 minute drive to downtown Juneau. The check in process was a breeze thanks to the excellent communication with the experienced hosts (Adam and Ash) and the easy access front door with our own personalized code to open it. They even let us check in three hours early. We had an assigned parking...
