"We had a great weekend stay in the Cougar House, close to great hikes and gorgeous scenery. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our visit. We walked to breakfast at the Lone Pine Resort and dinner at the Cougar Bar & Grill- both great places with friendly staff. We're already planning another trip to explore the area more."

"Excellent for big groups going to the lake. Brought 2 16 foot boats and plenty of room for parking.Downstairs was great for hanging out and I am sure there are some great memories made there. Definitely will be back to explore the lake and area again."

"Cute little cabin with a perfect set up for my friend and I to have a weekend away. The bedrooms were comfortable with extra pillows just in case. Kitchen was stocked with all the necessities. Bathroom was clean. Everything was comfortable and you could tell the host has thought of all the ways to make it as accommodating as possible. We didn’t end up using the fire pit or hot tub but both areas looked well kept and cared for. All around a great trip for us! Will definitely be back with the kids next time!"

"Nice, quiet neighborhood. Kitchen stocked with a lot of amenities. Everything very clean. Two of the bedrooms have queens and one bedroom with just a day bed for a child. Couch is not a fold-out. Only the main room has air conditioning but there is one overhead fan and one stand alone. Table lamps would be a nice addition to the rooms."

"A fantastic, rustic but clean and cozy, cabin super convenient to trailheads and Mt St Helens. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space and our teenager loved the loft. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We had the absolute best little family weekend here! The cabin was cozy, clean and had everything we needed for a successful stay. Beautiful, peaceful and quiet! The only neighbor that appeared home was the house being renovated on the drive in (friendly, no issues!) We enjoyed saying hi to the horses on neighboring property. Anne was super quick to respond to questions regarding the fire ban and again when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the bathroom. We so appreciated the extra headlamps for exploring Ape Cave. Our 3 year-old had a blast and made some core memories this stay... first ever campfire and s'mores, caves, lava tube and lots of new hikes at Mt St. Helens. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We hope to make this a tradition and return soon!"
