The hostal is surrounded by beautiful mountains, staff members are friendly and welcoming. They have a restaurant and bar across the street and restaurants with delicious food nearby. Drive to Cerro Verde is about 47 minutes from here.

A great stay in a very comfortable and artsy boutique hotel. The hostess, Deborah, and her partner, Frank, also run an amazing bar of the same name just across the street. Great food, huge selection of beers etc and variety of music

We had a problem with our room the hostal gave us another one, but they fixed their mistake and got us the correct one. The room is nice and cozy.

This place is charming to look at….not great for sleeping. The arrangement here is bizarre. As a guest you have to walk through the front shop to get out which means that over night you are locked in. Not a fan of not being able to come and go. Practical things like WiFi did not work the lamp in our room did not work (we traded out the bulb) and the bathroom had not been cleaned. The noise during sleeping hours was the worst we experienced the entire trip. As the hostel is right on the main road there is loud traffic big trucks and loud motorcycles. Dogs barked through the night setting each other off with each round. Heidi who runs the place is lovely but she speaks very quickly and it’s kinda hard to communicate.
