"We previously attempted to communicate directly with the property manager about our concerns, but didn’t receive any response. Below are the issues we experienced: During check-in, issues with the front door lock and access code after traveling 14+ hours and it being 100+ degrees outside (poor communication); Garbage left in guest bedroom dresser (McDonald’s cup with liquid); All nightstands dusty and dirty; Hand soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner bottles empty or nearly empty in guest...

"Everything about our bungalow was exceptional. Clean, comfortable, very nice furniture, well appointed kitchen and stocked pantry. The views were nice from our room, and on the grounds there were seating and viewing areas to catch the sites. The only helpful criticism I have is the lack of response to messages. They said that they are now using the app Guesty to register their guests, and it is new to them. The link that was provided to us via the Expedia app messages did not work for the Guesty app. Homestead said you will get your door code to your room only if you complete the identification process thru Guesty. I messaged a request for help. No answer, no response. Tried again next morning, still not working. We are supposed to check in the afternoon. Apparently I am on my own here. I decided to try the link on my laptop instead of the phone app. Now it finally went through! I could now put in my driver license info and take the required selfie. We now met the requirements to get our door code. One week later still no response to my request for help with their new Guesty app. The only communication I received after our stay was to please do a review. Someone needs to monitor the messages, and be alert when you put in a new app, Guesty, in case there are some hitches in the process."

"Desert Oasis truly lived up to its name… a beautiful oasis! The house was impeccably clean and in order. The pool, spa, and hammocks was just what we needed to relax from busy work and activity schedules! Every detail was well thought out to make our stay very comfortable. Well stocked with kitchen cookware/utensils and pool towels. 6 minutes to Joshua Tree visitor center. Neeraj was very communicative and helpful. Easily 5-stars! Look no further if you are staying in the area!"
