"Off the beaten track, quiet. Huge room with a lazyboy style recliner. I loved relaxing in that chair! The woman who checked us in and the one who was there in the morning were both friendly and efficient. The room was super clean. I liked the real bedspread too, not one of those fake ones chains use. Nice sized fridge too. Breakfast was better than expected. Breads, muffins, donuts, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, and packaged breakfast sandwiches."

"Incredible property with an amazing host who truly understands hospitality. My family and I stayed here in August of 26' after having cancelled our trip to Northern Ontario due to the wildfires. To start, we booked this cabin last minute, and the host couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating answering all of our questions prior to booking late on a Friday evening before a Monday check in. This host obviously has a hospitality background or was simply born for it. Every single detail is meticulously thought through. You will want for nothing while you stay here. The property itself is absolutely beautiful. The view from sunrise to sunset are breathtaking. Patten lake is quiet and perfect for navigating via kayak, which are included, with young kids. My family of 4 made so many memories and were incredibly comfortable staying here and the cabin itself could easily accommodate 6. 10/10 would highly recommend if you're on the fence."

"What a wonderful place to stay out and hope the woods away from everybody and the noise and smelled good. They were animals. I just can’t even describe how much I enjoyed the place. But, it is also a way from town so if you’ve gotten something and you need to get something at the store, it’s a good 15 minute trip. I did not mind it at all. There were those in my party who did. But it’s fun."

"We enjoyed our stay here so much. The property is in a serene, secluded spot. We used the kayak and row boat. There’s a new master bedroom on the main floor with a full bath (shower). The large, beautiful table was perfect for family meals and playing games. The owner was friendly and responsive. We would love to stay here again sometime."

"Lovely! Clean, convenient, stocked, and comfortable!Most importantly, it was a beautiful cottage for spending time with our family that live in the area.Everyone agrees that the screen porch is a 10 out of 10! So much to offer! Wonderful sandy beach for great swimming. We had fun fishing, floating, and using our paddle boards. My son and his girlfriend enjoyed white water rafting at Pier’s Gorge. Highly recommend! Would definitely love to rent again. Thank you!"
