Good but not great. Not fancy.

We stayed at the Nathan hotel with our family and it was a good hotel, close to a Metro station and taxis were extremely easy to find. Step outside and voila! a taxi!!. The location, Nathan road, is popular in Hong Kong. The hotel was kept at sub zero temperatures, too cold for us but I think they do this because of the intense humidity in the city, plus it was raining a lot during our stay. We had some difficulty with the thermostat in our room (extreme cold!) and the closet light kept on turning on by itself waking us up in the middle of the night. The breakfast buffet was good (recommended) but there was a huge contrast with the dinner menu. As Westerners we were not crazy about the local food and that's pretty much all they had at the restaurant, even the spaghetti was strange. My kids did not even get dessert and chocolate "anything" was not even in the menu.. Overall it was a good hotel but i would rate it 3 to 3.5 stars tops... not 4. The service was good, the staff was kind and courteous.
