We absolutely loved this place. Just an incredible view, and down the street from a public beach. The house itself was well-appointed, and the hosts graciously made sure we had everything we needed. We can't wait to come back!

Second stay as great as the first!
This is our second time staying here and it was a perfect again! Clean, beautiful views, lots of linens, well stocked kitchen, the ice maker and rocking chairs on the deck were our favorites! The guest contact Heather is so sweet and responds so quickly. We will be back!
We returned to Jonesport this year for a vacation 20 years after our first visit and it was everything we remembered. Our choice of this property for our vacation this year was everything we had hoped: a beautiful, quiet haven with all the basic comforts of home and a view that can’t be beat. Some amazing hikes and some tranquil mornings on the deck enjoying the gardens and sunrises were exactly what we needed.
Clean, functional home with outstanding views. Woke up to stunning sunrises, watched the tides change and the variety of air and sea life from the home and property. The area of Maine is magical. This property is enchanting.
Beautifully situated on the water for outstanding views this home is slightly dated but still very comfortable. Two king bedrooms make it perfect for two couples, and the fenced yard makes it perfect for a pet. As with most properties in the Downeast Maine, it is some distance from populated areas and larger stores, but it is still somewhat convenient to hikes along the bold coast, to Lubec and Campobello Island, and to Eastport.
Staying on the bay in Maine at this charming VRBO provided a peaceful and rejuvenating escape. It was perfect for watching the sun rise over the horizon and enjoying that stillness of the morning, with the soft glow of light reflecting off the water. The sky full of pastels, warm oranges and pink, the sound of waves, all in a picturesque backyard garden.
The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and cookware to create our own meals from the local seafood markets. The bed was comfortable and the location was perfect. We will be back!
House is 1980’s decor. Beds are comfortable, but, there’s minuscule little night stands beside each bed. There’s a tiny TV and very uncomfortable living room furniture in the TV room. The washer and dryer were nice to have. Overall, it’s the scenery that makes this house so special.

All that you need for a relaxing vacation.
The house had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the bathroom was pristine and well-equipped.The fascinating view of the ocean and islands through the sliding patio doors makes the house a must-come back.House rules are listed on the fridge and are easy to follow.A slight downside was that the bedrooms do not have heating (we visited in January). We had to leave the bedroom door open so the temperature did not go below manageable.
This place was amazing. If you are looking for a quintessential Maine vacation, off the beaten path, with great views, this is the place for you. It is located on a small cliff overlooking the bay. Direct access to the water. We kayaked and fished which was fun. You can walk out to an island right in front of the place during low tide. Jonesport is a small town, mainly focussed on lobstering and fishing. Beautiful views, fresh lobster roles around. There is also a sandy beach about 0.5 miles away which is free and worth relaxing on. The owners of the place were super hospitable and helpful. Highly highly recommend. 5 stars.

Cozy cottage stunning views
At first I was nervous because the cottage is on a main road. However, when you pull in, it is a wonderfully hidden away with a glorious view of the ocean! The cottage is cozy and comfortable, it is slightly dated but it is clean. But the porch and the sweet, well manicured yard is what makes this home stand out! There is a stairway down to the rocks and when the tide is out you can walk along the rocks to a sandbar and walk out to a small island. However, if you were looking for a place to relax and enjoy your family, it is fantastic! The weather wasn't perfect while we were there, but we took a quick trip to Beales Island and found some nice hiking trails. We brought our dog and the yard is fenced in which made us feel very safe. There were plenty of puzzles and games for the foggy rainy day. We would definitely return to this cottage!

Serene oceanview, cozy house
We stayed for almost an entire week in January. Just having this magnificent view to the ocean and islands helped us relax and wind down.House is well equipped. Kitchen even has spices, oils, and vinegar. It was warm. Nights are magnificent there. And waling up to the raising sun over ocean is the best part of it.
What an outstanding place this is overlooking the ocean with all its many sights and sounds, plus a sandy beach just 1/4 mile away! It's location made it easy to take day trips to Eastport, Lubec, Campbello, Schoodic or to just stay and relax by the sea. We hated to leave!
Really great stay. One hiccup was splinters in the kids feet on the outdoor deck. Had to go to the ER to get them out (large) may want to look into refinishing/sanding.
It was a nice quiet place. Seeing the sunrise each day was very pleasant. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck watching sea life and birds. We also weren’t far from Great Wass preserve so went on the coastal loop. It was more challenging for a couple senior citizens than we expected, and well worth doing. Highly recommend it if you want to spend a beautiful day in nature.
