"This place was an instant favorite! I absolutely LOVED the decor!! Everything was very clean and maintained, and you can tell by the attention to detail that this lodge is very well cared for. All of the furniture and beds were very comfortable! I love that there was plenty of space on each level so that if you have extra guests, everyone has plenty of room (just be sure to stick the tall folks downstairs, the clearance is a bit short when coming down the stairs from the upper level). The basement area was super spacious and had the cutest decorations (I LOVE the retro carpet in the kitchen!) The hosts even had a booklet with the history of the lodge and pictures from when it belonged to their beloved Grandma. This lodge is pretty close to alot of amenities and things to do, but still far out enough to give that rural, private feel. I can't wait until we come back, and we'll stay a couple of extra nights next time!!"
