"The house is very pretty and comfortable, Loved the fenced yard for the dogs and location was perfect for us as we could navigate the area easily, The view from to the river is so pretty, got to see a Heron, a deer getting to the bank up to his Belly to eat Algae! We had a nice Family time! Mike was very nice to let us check out an hour late."

"Location was perfect to all attractions in the surrounding area. Beautiful location, quiet and nice place to stay! Host had just about anything you could think you would need and more! We will plan to stay here again if in the area in the future!"

"The house is immaculate and well cared for. The location is conveniently located. You could hear the neighbors but there was no one shouting/partying. My only (very minor) complaint was that the gate didn't close due to what looked like fresh gravel, so my preschooler had to stay closer to me in the yard."

"We booked the cabin for my family of 5 for Thanksgiving! We cooked an entire Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen had everything we needed! The host was so awesome. Great communication and even surprised us with some Thanksgiving decorations to make our stay fun! The cabin was very clean and just as described. The views were amazing. While remote and off the beaten path, there are two wineries close and you are an easy drive to Boone and Blowing Rock. We had a great time and will be back to enjoy...

"We enjoyed our stay at The Craftsman. The amenities were exactly as advertised. The 3 bedrooms were comfortable, fenced yard was perfect for our dog, large dining room table provided plenty of room for a puzzle and we enjoyed the perfect location close to ETSU, Milligan University and any necessary shopping. Thanks for the hospitability!"

"Great place. Great communication with owner. Peaceful place to just chill out. We spent time hiking roan mountain range which is very close and spent a afternoon floating in the river with Loafers Glory Rafting and Tubing. House had a few minor quirks but to be expected with older properties. Over all highly recommended."

"I would have been nice to know the driveway was on a 45 degree angle. I have a wheelchair lift on the back of my car and was not able to access the drive way due to the clearance. Also the yard has not been mowed it a long time."

"Came with my childhood friends to celebrate our 40th birthdays. It was the perfect little getaway, but was only about 45 min away from home for most of us. We enjoyed this clean cozy cabin, sipping coffee on the porch, soaking up the sun on the dock with our cold drinks and snacks, and s’mores by the fire. Bit of a hike back up from the dock, but it was good for us!"

"The location of this house is excellent. The neighborhood was quiet and getting to it is easy. The covered outdoor lounge area was a nice place to relax and also offered a place to park our motorcycles to keep them out of the weather. There are a few concerns that were listed by another visitor back in February that were not taken care of by the time of our stay. Namely, the master bed needs more supports, there were very few hangers in the closets, the propane tank for the outdoor fire pit was...
