“Oystercatcher” (3039 Southerly Way) Come relax by the river in a waterfront bungalow located on the stunning Kiawah River. Walking distance to the Dunlin Hotel, the Bungalows are a limited collection of furnished boathouses nestled along a quiet creek off the Kiawah River. The spirit of the Bungalows is all about carefree romantic getaways or the ideal jumping off point for authentic Lowcountry adventures from this picturesque riverfront village.
Oystercatcher offers a small kitchenette, Keurig style coffee maker, cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, stand-alone ice maker, mini fridge, king bed and walk-in shower with tub and YouTube TV. Washer/Dryer is not provided. There are 16 steps to enter the 2nd floor property. There is an outdoor shower under the bungalow in the garage. The outdoor porch is a perfect place to take in breathtaking coastal views.
Oystercatcher is part of the vibrant Kiawah River community on Johns Island. You're just a 5-minute drive to Kiawah Island, Seabrook Island, and Freshfields Village, and only 25 minutes from historic downtown Charleston. Embrace the local charm: walk or bike extensive trails, play tennis or pickle ball, shop Rosebanks farm, join a goat yoga class, book a kayak, boat, or fishing tour departing just steps from your door.

Construction: There are nearby homes and hotel under construction. Some construction noise can be heard from the home during working hours. Monday-Friday 7-7. Saturday 8-5. The price reflects this and will increase upon completion.

Loved our stay. We wanted a place to go to unwind and relax and the place definitely delivered. Beautiful views, walking trails and even had a small dog park. It was nice to have the hotel nearby for drinks and dinner. A place we will come back to.
Very enjoyable stay in the cottage. Only recommendation is to adjust the hurricane door lock and add some mixing bowls to the cupboard. the hiking trails were beautiful.
We stayed here as we are building a home in the neighborhood. The critique is this compares to the local hotels and for the price - the mattress and bedding needs to improve for the premium space and price.
Every detail in the property was well though out. Beautiful architecture and interior design. The neighborhood is a hidden gem in Johns Island. We cannot wait to go back!
Only suggestion is having a full length mirror tucked away somewhere. A must have for us ladies trying to decide outfits for the day 😉.
We stayed at "Oyster Catcher" for 5 nights. Oct. 10 - 15. Everything was so nice. This is a beautiful area. There is A LOT of construction going on near the bungalows, but we were not bothered by this. The bungalows are the back of the subdivision tucked away from everything. This unit has wonderful water views. Guest have full free access to the community dock, hot tub and two pools. There's also a gym on site that we did not visit.
Beautiful place with great amenities! 5 Star accommodations. There is a lot of new construction going up around this property; but the beautiful bungalow, the brand new pool and clubhouse with a dock and gazebo are worth it.
