"Sandy Point Motel was a real find! Though the room was small, it was immaculately clean and had a private screened in porch that made the room feel bigger. All the rooms have a private screened in porch. The beach, down a long rampway, was large and pristine, with plenty of beach chairs. The owners couldn’t have been nicer and we were in easy driving distance to both meals and sights. Would absolutely stay there again!!"

"There weren’t any filters for coffee in the room but there was coffee available early morning downstairs which was appreciated. We didn’t have any cups in the room either. It was chilly in the room and no way to warm it up. We ate at the restaurant and the waiter worked really hard to understand us which is appreciated. The food was good. There were little nats flying around our table which could be from doors being open. We are excited to return when the remodel is complete and are happy that the investors have elected to save the property."

"This camp was deal for our gathering of long-time friends…great spaces for hanging out, relaxing, conversation & sharing meals together, not to mention its geographical location worked well for all of the activities we had in mind(The Wild Center, church service at Chapel Island, paddling on Upper Saranac Lake,riding bikes in the new ADK Trail, rail biking at Revolution Rail, checking out Ausable Chasm). The host, Bruce, could not be more generous with sharing information & ideas with his guests! In fact, we enjoyed ourselves so much that we’ve already booked again for a future visit!!"

"The Nest was a great place for our first-ever visit to the Adirondacks. It was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped, which is big for us as we cook/bring all our food. Kevin was extremely nice & helpful, even letting us use space in his garage for our kayaks.The location was great, close to lots of things (The Wild Center where we visited the trolls, some beautiful kayak put-ins, hiking, and some downtown areas with coffee, groceries, and stores - it’s also close to the rail trail & railroad which we didn’t get to this visit).Would stay again!"

"We had an absolutely terrific 2 week stay that included our grown children, grandchildren, and our friends. The house is everything in the description and more - plenty of room, extremely well stocked (including the kitchen, which has everything one could possibly need), beautiful outdoor spaces, various porches with plenty of seating, lots of games as well as arts & crafts for the kids. Check in was seamless, and the house was exceptionally clean and welcoming. We are looking forward to returning!"
