Enjoy your Getaway at the Peaceful Lakefront Chalet!

The lakefront chalet is located on peaceful Lake Louise in Johannesburg. We invite you to come and enjoy the serenity of the lake. You have two decks to choose from. One located out the back door of the chalet and the other is a lake side deck that's great for soaking up the sun. We also have a horseshoe pit, fire pit, four kayaks and a paddle boat for your enjoyment. We are just minutes from Gaylord's downtown "Alpine Village" where you'll find shops, restaurants and summer/winter festivals. Gaylord is know as Michigan's golf mecca and we are smack dab in the middle of the snow belt so if your looking to hit the trails or the slopes you won't be disappointed. Great trails for hiking located with in minutes. Get here and enjoy everything Northern Michigan has to offer!

We really enjoyed our stay here! We had a nice relaxing time. Bring water shoes, a little muddy putting paddle boat in, but a lot of fun! Cabin has everything you need😊

Very cozy. Just what we needed.

Great place and location. My husband and I and our two dogs had a great time. There is a lot to do, just a quick drive into downtown Gaylord and the Evening Sun sets beautiful. We will definitely be coming back

Elk hunt

Worked out great for us as my elk hunt was maybe 3 miles away. The cabin was very accommodating for the 4 of us.Tv didn't have any local news or regular networks and when streaming the Lions football game we would loose it frequently.

Another nice stay at the jo-burg cabin

This was our 3rd stay at this cabin. My family enjoyed walking the neighborhood, kayaking around the lake, catching fish on the dock, playing at the school park in jo-burg, and all our day trips around up north.

Family weekend get away

Cozy family cabin for a great getaway

Our family of 5 spent 5 night here over New Years and had the best time. The cabin was well stocked for all essentials of living away from home. We loved the solitude of the location and had a magical snowfall on NYE that made for great fun on NYD by building and igloo and sledding down the driveway. We also had a couple of days of skiing at Treetops and Boyne Mountain. Would definitely stay again!

Fabulous!

The chalet is perfect; it has the lake front and is situated for the most beautiful sunsets. Just 15 mins from downtown gaylord, there are plenty of shops and restaurants. Will definitely be back!

Great Getaway!

This is a real quiet and relaxing place for a trip to the Gaylord area. It is very clean, comfortable and has multiple decks to enjoy the great outdoors. The use of the paddle boat and kayaks to enjoy the lake was a real plus! Only 15 minutes outside of Gaylord it is close to town conveniences but secluded enough for a peaceful getaway. We will visit this chalet again!

Relaxing, beautiful chalet on a pretty lake!

We enjoyed ourselves and used the kayaks, horse shoes and other amenities. House was comfortable with everything needed at out fingertips. Location in northern Michigan is reasonably close to everything. Paul's Pub, Johannesburg is excellent and great places to eat/shop in nearby Gaylord.
