There was no lodge at the end of the directions i got form the app and i need to call the lodge 3 times before i got answer and just to hear they are close and i was force to book in someplace else.

Home away from home

The team at Airport Lodge are always so welcoming and kind. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable and the property itself is peaceful and tranquil. I look forward to staying again soon!

Beautiful property, very comfortable stay

Very friendly service, easy check-in. The rooms are very clean and quite spacious. The property is very quiet and privacy is a real plus. The proximity to OR Tambo International Airport is definitely a draw card.

Will never us them again, this place is absolutely disgusting. It seems the bathrooms were last cleaned when building was constructed.! The food is prepared very bad, along with the absolute horrible service.!!!!

Student transit stay

The place is adequate for a night stay near the airport and the breakfast was good. The free shuttle included is good but make sure you are able to communicate with the hotel once you have arrived so that they come and pick you up as they do not wait for you at the airport.

The lounge's amenities were extremely basic, but the staff were nice. We arrived late at night and left early the next morning with the free shuttle, so it was pretty much just a place to crash before getting on the plane. It was okay for that purpose but I won't recommend it for a longer stay.

Rooms were excellent and staff were excellent too. They also provide a shuttle service to the airport. This is brilliant. However, one wishes they had plates and kitchen towels in the rooms instead of just a kitchen with cups and no towels and no cutlery

The service was excellent. Staff had a human heart and were patient and surprisingly provided a shuttle service to the airport in odd hours of the early hours of night at 5am and I realised that one guest was ready at 4am and they were patient with him nonetheless

Roach and Bug Infested Dump

Place is an old run down roach motel. Bugs everywhere. There were more roaches and bugs on the room and bathroom floor, than there were people on the entire property. Place was just old and dirty. No AC only ceiling fan. Property is in disrepair and in need of desperate renovation and new management. Manager was unfriendly and upset because we woke him up and he had to check us in at 9:30p. Found out the reception office had been closed since 4p. Avoid this property! Only good thing is that it is relatively close to airport and cheap. But you get what you pay for. This place is like $30 USD and worth about $5 USD a night.
