Only hotel in Drachten. Convenient to reach by car or public transport

Our stay at Stenden was a very pleasant one, where we found all the students who were doing their practical experience in hospitality in this hotel to be friendly and eager to help where they could. The room was modern, bright, well proportioned and very comfortable, with little complimentary extras,ie, little chocolate bars and small containers of nuts and dried fruits. The breakfast was good . At first, we were taken aback at the un-staffed hospitality concept but we got used to this after we checked in and found it an innovative option. There is always someone present behind the counter during breakfast hours and there are cleaners as well. The hotel has a contemporary, modern feel to it. The seating areas on the ground floor give it a safe and comfortable ambiance, almost like coming home after a day of sightseeing. The staff were well organised and friendly, always helpful. If...

Very friendly staff. Close to shops and restaurants. Nice room. Quiet.

Most helpful staff at front desk, very clear and useful information. Room is well arranged and pleasant. Comfortable stay. Would recommend.

Amazing hotel in a great location, the room was clean and tidy, good breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed staying here

Clean, modern, automatic doors and a lift. 400 metres from bus stop to Groningen. Stayed there for 3 nights as was going to Dutch MotoGP TT at Assen. Easy bus and train trip costing about 21 euros return. Good food, good bar prices.

SUoer helpful staff. On arrival we found that our room only had two single beds, but on request the staff were more than welcoming to change our room to a double. The new room had a magnificent view with a wall of windows overlooking the street. Very helpful with a tip on car parking location. Plenty of options at breakfast and the meal we had for dinner was delicious.
