Homey nice house with comfy beds and nice spaces. Exceptionally quiet and felt more secluded than it was. Easy 5 min drives to pizza, pool and trailheads. Covered deck was nice for morning coffee.

Leaf peeking bonanza

There was bright yellow, brilliant orange, and crimson red with deep maroon everywhere in the neighborhood and the mountains. We enjoyed watching the deerlin the morning and evening. Great location to Jim Thorpe, coal mining tour as well as Yeungling tour with tasting. Comfortable recliner couches to relax after touring all day.

Perfect Place to Relax and Unwind

The house was clean and comfortable. Our first day was rainy, and it was really relaxing to sit on the covered porch and listen to the sound of the rain before retreating inside to curl up and read. When the weather cleared up, it was wonderful to take the short walk to the beautiful lake and go for a swim in the pool. We also enjoyed sitting on the porch with coffee listening to the birds and watching the deer. Perfect spot to relax and unwind.

It wasn’t warm enough to enjoy any of the community amenities but the house was in a good location for the activities we had planned. The neighborhood is quiet and located close to Jim Thorpe and surrounding attractions.

Short two night stay

My husband and I had a quick two-night stay at this lovely property. It was very clean, conveniently stocked with everything we needed. The area is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The host checked in with us a few times- which was great! Check in and out were easy. We would happily stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. It was super clean and had everything we would need to enjoy a great weekend. It was quiet and secluded but close to the town of Jim Thorpe, biking and hiking trails. We played pickleball at Bear Creek Lake Community center where they also have tennis, a playground and pool. The host was really good with communicating instructions and very prompt at answering any questions we had. We would come back to this home again if we were in the area.

Good location. House was nice and welcoming. Communication with Hattie was very quick and easy. The only reason for a 4 is due to a temperature issue. Other than that I would give it a 5.

We stayed here for our first visit to Jim Thorpe for cycling the rail trail, it was about a 10 minute drive to town. We didn’t use the lake which was about a mile away but would have if we stayed longer. The home was great for our needs.
