"Very heavy farm gate across entrance, difficult to open. Cold weather so oil filled heater used, it was upstairs and very heavy to manoeuver down to the lounge. Front door key tricky to use.Upstairs bedroom has no emergency exit in case of fire or smoke in stairway.We love this spot, but is it safe?"

The lights had been put on, as had heaters in all the rooms, it was so lovely not having to fumble around for lights in the cold. The house was perfect for our group. Lovely wood burner and plenty of wood. Beautiful view of the mountain when the clouds cleared."
