Terrible experience
Planned hotel months ahead only to find the day we were to stay at the hotel that it had shut down leaving us in the lurch with no hotel to stay at and we had to drive all the way home in the middle of the night. We are older people, one of us disabled, and had attended a crowded concert in dangerous near 100° temp. This is exactly what we were trying to avoid!

This was an awful experience. The hotel was nothing like the representation online. Rundown, outdated, restaurant locked up with chain and bolt, no coffee, nothing! Pool closed although online said open. Maybe 3 cars in parking lot, but said online there were only 5 rooms left. Gas smell in hallway outside room. Extremely disappointed with this hotel.

Sad!!!!
On a sweltering weekend (30+ deg. C)the outdoor pool was closed for seemingly no reason and the A/C unit in our room was not working properly at all. When this was brought up at reception, they said they would send someone up to take a look which did not happen. We never got new towels for an entire weekend. Not even an offer to tidy the room at any point. To top it all off there’s absolutely no way that’s the longest pickle bar in the entire world. What a disaster.

Worse service ever
I woke up 7am with my bathroom covered in water . I called them nicely and told them my problem. They came and take a look and offered me a room next door but I needs to be cleaned first. I declined the offer and ask the GM/Owner Miss Denise for a refund , she made it clear it’s not her fault and I’m not getting back my money and also the workers was very rude. Please be careful!!!

Still Satisfied
I've stayed at this location several times during the past 15-20 years, and never had a problem. The rooms are clean, there's always been sufficient hot water, and sufficient parking. I'm told that the on-site restaurant has good food, but honestly have never tried it in all this time. The location is great for convenience to Lyndhurst and surrounding towns.

Only Complaint is that the first room we were put in did not have AC and was really hot. So we had to move rooms after getting all settled in. I wish the front desk person would have asked us at check in if we need/ wanted AC......

The deciding factor in choosing this hotel was the free American style breakfast. However, when we went to the lobby for our free breakfast, we discovered that free breakfast was suspended. There is no daily housekeeping. The beds are uncomfortable, hard, and noisy. Pros? Walking distance to mediaeval times. And the young man working front desk was very nice. That’s all.

Not the place for us
Hotel was clean. The main problem was how hard the beds were. Like sleeping on concrete. Woke up in pain. Let them know at the desk and was given a new room. Beds were a tiny bit more comfortable. Hotel is older. If you are looking for no frills and don't mind very hard beds, then this may be the hotel for you.

I stayed with my family on Christmas. There was some drunk guests at adjacent room making lot of noise in corridor at 1 AM NIGHT. I called front deak but she told that you can talk with them and she cannot come. Pathetic Behaviour. Will not recommend for families. Also I checked my account statement today and they charged me more what i booked thru expedia. Not sure why. Also in my stay Breakfast was included. It is mentioned in their hotel details but it was not privided. They should update their site.

Army-Navy Weekend
Rooms (3) were clean and comfortable. Heat was a bit out of control, but it was 64 degrees in mid-December. The place is a bit "dated", but we were very pleased with the hotel and the staff. Had dinner in the restaurant one night, and it was very good. The prices seem a bit high, but most everything easily feeds two and they encourage sharing.

Not bad but NO Breakfast
This hotel was fine. Check-in was easy. The restaurant menu was interesting. Many items to share. We shared the steak and it was lovely. NO BREAKFAST BUFFET. We should have been told at check-in. Not until next morning I was told "no breakfast because... covid." Also no bagged breakfast items (like other hotels). They did give a 10% off coupon for the restaurant but it did not open until 10. The Quality Inn needs to change their description because I might have made a different choice when traveling with family.

Close to the city
We like to stay in Lyndhurst when we visit Manhattan, since you can hop on a bus and be at the Port Authority in less that 1/2 hour usually, and it is way less than staying in the city! And the Quality Inn has free parking. The hotel itself is comfortable, and the restaurant on site is a bonus. We have been coming here for years and notice some upkeep is needed but all-in-all it's a fine place to stay!

The staff was nice and the pool too . But the rooms were , kind of old , the carpet was wet due to a sink leak. there were remainings of cigarets. but the hotel overall needs more cleaness.

Disappointed. Was advertised in hotels.com with free breakfast and pool only to find out in the morning that they don't serve breakfast because of covid. They should have updated that part online. Also pool was overly crowded because they allow day passes. Hallway also smell of cigarettes. We only booked it because we we're looking for a hotel with pool and free breakfast but if only we knew that they stopped serving breakfast and pool will be crowded then we should have looked somewhere else.

The bed is so uncomfortable totally not worth it to stay at that place. Has a really weird smell the restaurants and everything. Do not stay there!
