"The city of Manosque isn't really worth a visit - I chose it thinking it was central to the lavender fields and close to the L'Occitane factory (I call it the Poughkeepsie of Provence...). I thought it would be a good idea to have a cheap hotel in the pedestrian section of town but what I hadn't taken into consideration is that the high cost of parking our rental car made this "budget" hotel more expensive than the Ibis on the outskirts of town. If I had it to do over I wouldn't stay at this...

"Attention to little things such as placing a variety of chocolates/nougat/calissons each night on the bed and a bottle of wine to welcome guests.
Food was excellent. Cocktails were lovely.
Having indoor and outdoor pool was a bonus.
The nearby town of Forcalquier was well worth visiting"

"Perfect place if you are looking for tranquility, basic comfort, or a starry sky. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Local or homemade breakfast. Good coffee (for our taste), served in some (for us) untraditional bowls.
Definitely ask about their organic wastewater treatment system.

"We stayed two nights at this modestly priced hotel while cycling the Luberon. The room and bathroom were clean and large, but the view from the balcony of our room was worth a million. Breakfast was simple- bread/pastry, coffee, and juice - and priced accordingly. Check-in is 5:30. Would stay here again. "

"Our room had a full kitchen which was real convenient in terms of being able to prepare our own meals or just make hot drinks in our own room.
Breakfast was available for 12 euros.
Overall, great value for money and would appeal to family groups."

"Quiet area, with a few restaurants nearby and casino. Lovely room, we were given an apartment. Staff friendly and helpful. Would love to return here one day, we wish we booked longer."

"Beautiful old property restored as a guest house with lovely pool area. No air conditioning and quite rustic in feel, but charming and with lovely hosts."

"Quick and precise on the Expedia chat, very kind hosts at the reception, clean equipped room, nice and clean pool. Very quiet surroundings even if located next to an industrial area."
