  • Tucked away in the wooded community of Ausable Acres, this unique chalet is perfect for a couple’s getaway, offering a secluded retreat while remaining conveniently located just 15min from Whiteface Mt and 20min from Lake Placid, where you can explore Olympic sites and enjoy a variety of shopping options. Onyx Chalet provides a peaceful escape with access to scenic hiking trails, the nearby Ausable River for world-class fly fishing, pickleball and basketball courts, and a private community lake. Loved this cabin. Everything seemed pretty new, it was clean, comfortable and a great location for us. The house itself had some neat features, and it felt rustic but modern. The hot tub was a really great bonus. We loved the little touches from the hosts. Definitely one of my top vacation rentals and I would go back.
